After divorcing from his wife, Norman P Woodman - a failed television writer - moves into a university flat and attempts to get his life back on track.

After failing to get anywhere with his television show pitches, Norman makes some regretful mistakes whilst drunk and causes a media fiasco when he posts abuse to an actor on Twitter.

With his reputation ruined, Norman tries to get into the spirit of Christmas and do some good deeds to redeem himself - which is easier said than done.

It's a new year and Norman is looking for a replacement wife. He has already planned a disastrous date with the beautiful Lauren Challis - and we know it won't end well.

After a renowned television writer pulled out of giving a lecture at the university, Zack suggests Norman should take their place.

Norman finds out that the episode he wrote of The Bill is being shown next on a digital television channel - and invites people over for a "party" to watch it.

Norman has had a break-through.

Norman is down, but he's not out. As his rival has stolen his pitch, Norman is helped by an unwanted friend and races across the city of London to get to pitch his series first. Last in the series.
