A construction project is to bring new life into a mountain village. But a murder jeopardizes the project. Policemen Rosa Wilder and Manfred Kägi are investigating. Was it a crime of passion or was it committed by opponents of the project?

The murder of the famous artist Armon Todt and the abduction of billionaire's daughter Amina al Baroudi lead to a frenetic investigation. Each village inhabitant seem to have a dark secret but soon they can catch a first suspect.

The bodyguard is under investigation. With a cunning, Kägi and Wilder lure him into the trap. The apprentice cook, Jakob Siegenthaler, also attracts the attention of the police.

In order to save the Oberwies construction project, Federal Prosecutor Rossi concludes an agreement with investor al Baroudi. She wants to close the case as soon as possible.

A contract for secret money and a distorted photo of a cell phone started the investigation. In addition, the veil slowly loosens from the bottom of the Oberwies landslide.

The truth comes back to Oberwies and it hurts. However, it also works like a storm clearing the horizon: hostile families talk to each other again and two new half-brothers drink their first beer together.
