Actress D.D. Baldwin, and her musician husband, Justin, meet marriage therapist, Dr. Dave, for the first time.

D.D. tells Dr. Dave a secret.

Dr. Dave asks D.D. about something near and dear to her--her hair--and it leads to questions about her father, her mother, and an unexpected altercation.

Magdalena attends D.D.'s session. Dr. Dave is no doubt a fan.

D.D. can't speak, and Dr. Dave and Justin take full advantage of the situation by rapping.

Dr. Dave shares his philosophy on life with D.D. It just may do the trick.

D.D. is excited to tell Dr. Dave that the life plan he outlined for her is working, and her their sex life with Justin is really great. However, Dr. Dave is distracted by more pressing matters, his "football pool".

D.D. has some good news to share with Justin, but when she recognizes Magdalena's special ringtone from Dr. Dave's cell, Dr. Dave is forced to share some news of his own.

Marcus and Andrea visit Dr. Dave to persuade Dr. Dave to apologize to D.D.

It's D.D.'s first session back with Dr. Dave, along with her new "family". She a makes a deal with Dr. Dave to help him find Magdalena if he makes sure she books jobs. Dr. Dave suggests that D.D. should find her father.

D.D. has found Magdalena and her extra someone, and brings them to her session. But something goes terribly wrong after D.D. tells Magdalena she has own "extra" someone.

Magdalena, Andrea, Marcus, and Iggy "desperately" try to coax D.D. out of the bathroom, all while Iggy translates every word spoken into Spanish. Then, he shares the story about his true love, Esmeralda.

On location in Toronto, D.D., Andrea, and Marcus FaceTime in for a session with Dr. Dave who's sharing the sofa with Iggy and Magdalena. D.D.'s session is cut short when Landon Lovejoy and his assistant interrupt them and invites D.D. to his dressing room to run lines. Magdalena is not pleased.

Andrea and Marcus have found D.D.'s father, and have brought him with them to tell her. However, her response to the surprise is much more than any of them had expected, and so is Marcus's.

Landon tells D.D. how he met and fell in love with Magdalena.

Dr. Dave has a session with "The Real Magdalena".

Dr. Dave has back-to-back marathon sessions with Magdalena, Andrea, Marcus, Iggy, and finally, D.D. A secret is revealed that leaves Dr. Dave saying "Whoa..."

D.D. FaceTimes's Dr. Dave from Toronto along with Landon, Andrea, Marcus, and Iggy. She contemplates her career choices, and being typecast. She wants to take her life into her own hands.

The DNA results come back, and D.D. has to make a choice.
