At the beginning of the dry season, the purpose built waterhole is open for business. Which animals find it, how do they use it, and will they share? Chris reveals how different species thermoregulate to survive.

It's the hottest time of year and the waterhole is busier at night. A new predator emerges out of the shadows, hyena. Chris attempts to count their number while Ella looks at how the behaviour of waterhole residents is changing.

The rains hit the waterhole, dramatically changing the fortunes of the wild residents. The waterhole area is transformed into lush grazing pasture, attracting herbivores and predators. Ella delves into the data on use of the waterhole.
