Footage of a barbaric crime goes viral on social media across the country and Heloísa must take on the case while trying to balance her life as a criminal lawyer with the daily problems of her adopted son and her husband, a prosecutor.

Tormented by the dilemma imposed by Zeca, memories of her childhood's crime become frequent in Heloisa's mind. While time is running out, she must make an urgent decision, which can cost much more than Heloisa imagines.

Heloisa cannot forget that Carolina's surgery may have put a prosecutor's life at risk. She fears that Pedro may be Zeca's target, but has to focus on Dinorah's case, while Hugo also arouses curiosity about his biological mother.

Heloísa is taken by guilt for the death that occurred, while the memories of her childhood trauma become clearer. The task force discovers that Dinorah's victim is linked to Zeca and asks Heloísa to drop the case.

Having the memories of her past finally revealed, Heloísa confronts her own family and throws herself into Dinorah's case following new clues, but nothing goes as expected.

Isolated from her family, Heloísa faces by herself Dinorah's intricate trial and the verdict comes with a new threat for the lawyer.
