Bob and Larry receive a letter from a girl named Lucy. Her friend Sarah is acting weird. The other girls stopped liking her and want Lucy to do likewise. Archibald attempts to solve the problem with a story from his Big Book of Oddities, saying if your friend's acting weird shoot them to the moon. However, Bob has a better story, The Asparagus of La Mancha. Pancho must help his friend, Don Quiote, as their café competes with a new restaurant, The Food Factory. We learn the importance of sticking by our friends.

Bob and Larry get a letter from Peter. A boy named Marvin was mean to him during playtime and smashed his tower of blocks. He wants to know what to do. Archibald reads a story from his Big Book of Oddities (which makes no sense) and says Peter should smash Marvin's block tower, which may reinvent coleslaw. Bob has a better story, Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Samson's Hairbrush, which shows the importance of being kind to our enemies.

Bob and Larry get a letter from Danny. He wonders whether he should share one of his donuts with the kid next door. Pa Grape tries to answer the question with an old film about Johnny Donutseed, which makes no sense. Larry shows a film called The Englishmen Who Went Up a Hill (And Came Down With All the Bananas). However, Bob had a better story, Lyle the Kindly Viking that showed that by sharing we gain so much more, like friends.

Bob and Larry receive a letter from Gwyneth from Pahokee, Florida who's suppose to go to the dentist, but she's afraid. After a little bit of Archibald's book of oddities, and Larry's short, "Gong Up," Bob answers the question with the story of "Bully Trouble" where Junior Asparagus learns how to deal with bullies.
