Selina is forced to put her campaign on hold when her mother suffers a stroke.

As Thanksgiving arrives, a new crisis hits the team, with Selina left unable to fulfill her duties. Meanwhile, Dan takes on a new role, and Jonah receives exciting news.

As the country faces a massive financial crisis, Selina must make an important decision. Meanwhile, Jonah campaigns in New Hampshire and Amy is asked to find the source of disparaging comments made about Selina.

Selina's plan to lobby votes at the annual White House Congressional Ball goes awry, while Dan tries to save Jonah's disastrous campaign.
