Cevdet is betrayed by his blood brother, Tevfik. Cevdet is a major in Thessaloniki towards the end of the Balkan War. A brave soldier for the motherland, a love lover for his wife Azize; his children Ali Kemal, a compassionate father to Yildiz and Hilal.

When Cevdet and Tevfik battle on the front, everything upset with an event. Cevdet is forced to break from his family. Tevfik helps Azize, who had to migrate from Thessaloniki to Izmir.

Cevdet's return as a Greek colonel shakes all family and Tevfik up. The family is disappointed with his treachery except his elder daughter Yildiz. It won't be easy to regain his family for Cevdet.

Tevfik is unaware of leaving hint in the mosque. Azize wants to divorce Cevdet. Cevdet accepts with one condition. She gets disappointed because he gives up easily. Cevdet's treachery endangers his family.

After the fire Cevdet makes an important decision and brings his family to Greek Mansion. On the other hand, Cevdet chases Eftalya. Tevfik endangers Cevdet's life.

Cevdet faces death with Tevfik's trap. Azize worries about Ali Kemal and she decides to espouse Yildiz for avoiding from Leon. Hilal makes a dangerous plan. Leon is fighting for his life alone after the attack.

Cevdet's decision puts Cevdet and Tevfik on the spot. Azize comes face to face with death. Hilal and Leon come across, it becomes important milestone of their lives.

Cevdet has to get rid of Hasan the Immortal. Tevfik is undecided about Azize. Turkish public become hopeful with Amasya Circular but The Allies sends help to Greeks. Cevdet's duty is destroying the arsenal.

Hasan the Immortal is seized. Leon's doubts about Cevdet confuse Vasili's mind. Cevdet tries to learn the guns' place from him but Hasan threatens Cevdet with uncover him. Hasan the Immortal intends to give a secret to Azize.

Hilal and Mehmet arrests for exploding Greek arsenal. Everyone is shocked Vasili's execution decision for Hilal. Cevdet is grieved because his daughter gets punishment for his crime.

Cevdet and all family try to save Hilal. Halide Edip comes to Izmir and becomes hope for Azize. Cevdet has a last ditch for saving his daughter.

Cevdet's plan works, Esref takes hostage Leon when he tries to save Hilal. Vasili endangers Leon's life and orders to Cevdet to kill Esref. Eftalya learns everything about Tevfik and goes to Azize to tell.

Cevdet learns Tevfik is the traitor he was looking for. Their rivalry becomes different. Azize is decisive about Yildiz's marriage but Yildiz hopes Leon's help.

Cevdet prepares to return his family. He wants his Ottoman uniform from Azize. But a letter comes from Mustafa Kemal, changes everything.

Vasili orders to exile Turk families. When Cevdet tries to protect his family, Azize makes a surprise decision. Hilal and her friends decides to protest Greek vice prime minister's coming.

Costas wants to exile Cevdet. Azize says she will keep her promise to Tevfik. Tevfik is happy about Cevdet's state. Hilal wants to make herself heard to Costas and goes to the ball. Leon stands in her way with dance.

Cevdet has to kill Esref to believe the Greeks to himself. But Esref threatens him to reveal Cevdet's spying. Cevdet has to give a decision. Leon can't hide his feelings to Hilal anymore.

Cevdet is awarded with generalship. Meanwhile English agent arrives. Azize accepts to organize female resisters gladly. Charles and Esref have plans for Tevfik. Yildiz follows Hilal closely. Ali Kemal wants to chasten his father Cevdet.

Charles sends a offer Esref and charges Tevfik to wipe off communication between Anadolu and Izmir. Hilal is stuck in between love, country and siblings. She takes irreversible step.

While Cevdet tries to overcome plots of Charles, he tries to save Ali Kemal and Hilal. Veronica finds Leon's love letter to Hilal but it causes misunderstanding. Hasibe notices Azize's pregnancy and thinks Cevdet has right to know that.

Cevdet is looking for Esref's testament. Vasili commands to Cevdet to show round of Esref's funeral in the city. Leon gives his letter to Hilal. But according to Hilal, there is more important obstacles than Yildiz.

Cevdet Tevfik learns Cevdet's true face. Sivas Congress is announced. Charles makes new plans. Hilal tries to stop her feelings. Vasili organizes a surprise engagement for Yildiz and Leon. Azize and Tevfik prepares for marriage.

Yildiz gets lost after Leon's rejecting her. The Turkish arsenal has to move to Afyon but it is impossible. The person that will help Cevdet for this duty is Azize. Leon has to decide between his love and duty.

The guns reach to Afyon. Azize is the main suspect. Tevfik's new duty is inciting patriots. Cevdet has to save Yakup from Charles's trap. Leon can't forgive himself and decides to commit suicide.

Civil war starts in Izmir. Kara Fatma stands by Cevdet and Yakup to answer for Riza Bey's travel to Istanbul. Charles and Tevfik join forces with Vasili. Greek Army learns Leon's treason. Hilal and Ali Kemal decide to help him to flee.

Cevdet learns the truth about Tevfik. He decides to take revenge but first makes a plan for Riza Bey to change his decision. Azize gets involved and kidnaps. Leon has a pending court martial. Hilal tries to stop the execution.

Charles doesn't give in after Misak-i Milli. He collaborates with Vasili for a secret and bloody plan. Azize goes to a Yoruk village for help. A bad surprise waits Azize.

The massacre is told everywhere. Vasili defames Kuvva about this. Cevdet makes a plan with Azize. Tevfik is unaware of coming to his end. Leon is tested with Hilal's life by Vasili.

Tevfik kidnaps Azize and gives Esref's testament to Vasili. Vasili is on the verge of learning identity of the traitor in Greek army.

Vasili stalemates Cevdet with his family. Cevdet plays his last ace Ali Kemal for saving his family. Vasili faces the truth of his lost son Dimitri.

Vasili is executed for being traitor. Leon and Ali Kemal have tough times. Cevdet makes a important decision for his country. Unexpected things wait for Azize and Veronica.
