A drifter named Kotaro Higashi is asked to join ZAT (Zariba of All Territory) but when he is "killed" in battle the Five Ultra Brothers bring him to Nebula M-78 where he is turned into Ultraman Taro.

After successfully battling a liquid monster Kotaro falls into a mysterious hole that lands him in the stomach of another Terrible Monster.

The ZAT members must rescue Kotaro from the belly of the Terrible Monster and it may take the aid of the Mother of Ultra to finally defeat the laughing creature.

Two peaceful giant sea turtles go on a revenge-fueled rampage when greedy poachers make off with their eggs.

The ZAT team members want to return the now peaceful turtles to their island home but the Japanese military wants the creatures dead.

An ancient Egyptian talisman draws the attention of an acid-spewing slug that could end up destroying the city.

The ZAT team investigates reports of missing ship and discover a kaiju crab catastrophe.

Attacks by a giant red light have been occurring near a so-called man-eating marsh. ZAT thinks there's a secret to the marsh and launches the Subterrene Pellumidar 2. As Kotaro and Kitajima dig underground aboard the Pellumidar 2, they find the monster Tondaile.

A colony of huge ants is destabilizing and collapsing buildings all over Tokyo and it's up to ZAT to stop them.

Kotaro's training for an upcoming boxing match is interrupted by a giant walrus monster.

The ZAT members must discover the connection between a little flower girl and a series of vampiric murders.

Drilling for a hot spring awakens a particularly nasty kaiju who eats the man operating the drill site and it's up to ZAT to help the son of the supposedly eaten man.

An angry mob hunts a little girl who is accused of being the daughter of the legendary Nine-Tail Fox and claim that she is responsible for the recent fires plaguing the village.

A young boy playing his late grandfather's stone flute attracts the attention of a very peculiar kaiju.

Kotaro visits the earthquake laboratory where the father of Kenichi's best friend Takeshi works. Takeshi takes home Kotaro's watermelon gift, but the larva of Leaf-Eating Monster Kemgila appears. Ultraman Taro stands up to the now gigantic Kemgila, but Volcano Bird Monster Birdon flies over to feed on it!

With Taro mortally wounded it's up to the prayers of children and the help of Ultraman Zoffy to fend off the kaiju Birdon.

After defeating Ultraman Taro and Zoffy, the monstrous Birdon continues its assault on Japan as it hunts across the countryside for food.

Kotaro and the Shiratori siblings visit a guesthouse in Shinshu region. The guesthouse owner's wife, Osugi, had amnesia for the past two months from the shock of losing her only son to an illness. That night, the child of the monster, Flying Raidron, crashes onto Earth in the middle of the fireworks show. As Ultraman Taro attacks the monster, Osugi tells him...
