Vanessa's life is turned upside down when Alicia tells her that she is moving in with her boyfriend Philip. At the same time, things do not go as she intended when Alicia tries to give Philip a surprise the first night.

Alicia discovers that she is having a hard time fitting in with her new life with Philip. When Martin, the guy from the night before, gets in touch with Vanessa, she begins to doubt her own feelings and has to make a decision.

Alicia seeks support from Vanessa when she behind Philips' back decides to have an abortion. Vanessa tries to be there for her sister, but is suddenly faced with a dilemma when she is invited on a date.

Vanessa struggles with her own insecurity as she tries to take her friendship with Martin to the next level. Alicia and Philip travel to a mansion with friends, but Alicia soon feels left out.

The relationship comes to a head when Vanessa, in an attempt to disprove Alicia, introduces Martin as her boyfriend. Alicia is forced to question her own will when Philip chooses his friends over her.

Vanessa is in her family home with Martin for a dinner with her parents, Alicia and Philip. Alicia wrestles with a secret that would be devastating for Vanessa and her relationship.

Vanessa turns to alcohol to heal her broken heart, but her behavior has serious consequences. Alicia tries on wedding dresses when Vanessa suddenly shocks her.

After the accident at the bachelor party, Vanessa tries to get over her addiction by attending an AA meeting. At the same time, the clock is ticking down towards the wedding ceremony and Alicia worries that Vanessa will not come.
