Kevin Stone & Jennifer Pierce are ex-spouses who share custody of their young son, Daniel. When Kevin moves into Jennifer's trendy liberal neighborhood, their agendas turn competitive as they find themselves living on the same street, just two doors down from each other.

Kevin and Baxter deal with a testy infomercial chef at their studio while Summer and Kevin make plans for a sexy night at home.

Jennifer takes the perfect gift to impress her haughty mother-in-law, but finds that there has been a mix-up when Summer and Kevin have horribly misused their housewarming gift.

Daniel starts to notice his anatomy which sparks a competitive comparison of manhood between his dad and step-dad. Kevin and Summer crash a picnic held by Jennifer and Steven.

Steven and Kevin become embroiled in a heated stand-off over whether Daniel should be drinking cow's milk or soy milk.

Steven struggles with sticking to his non-violent principles after an impromptu soccer match with Kevin brings out their more primitive instincts.

Something is keeping Kevin up at night, and after getting a frosty reception from his neighbors, he decides to attend the Neighborhood Watch meeting to lodge a complaint about it.

Competition shifts into high gear as Kevin and Jennifer each campaign for an open spot on the Neighborhood Watch Committee, drawing their quirky neighbors into what is heading for a major showdown.

As Jennifer & Steven's libido is roaring, it's Winky the cat that continues to keep Kevin up at night! Will Kevin's drastic measures to get some sleep play into the hands of Jennifer's campaign to win a position on the Neighborhood Watch Committee?

Baxter leads an angry mob of neighbors in search of Daniel who has gone missing during the high jinx of the block party. Jennifer & Kevin switch gears from being in competition with each other to worrying about their son's whereabouts. Will they ever see Daniel again?

Will Jennifer and Steven have luck getting pregnant? Summer complains that she's not getting enough sex! And Kevin's attractive postal worker delivers the news that it's time to renegotiate child support.

You just KNOW there's going to be trouble when Kevin takes Baxter's suggestion to buy some "male enhancement" pills online! And who would have known that Summer and the Attractive Postal Worker, whom Kevin flirts with, have been friends in high school?

As Kevin and Baxter ride the roller coaster of "HerbaHard" side effects, Jennifer and Steven score big in their child support negotiation. Will Summer decide to stay? And what will Jennifer and Kevin's heart-to-heart talk lead to?
