Eric instructs a werewolf to look after Sookie and accompany her to Jackson, Mississippi; Jason is distracted from his police exams; Bud reaches the end of his rope; Arlene copes with unexpected news; Franklin charms Tara; Eric bequeaths a gift to Lafayette. Sookie receives a distressing call from Bill. She accompanies Alcide to his ex-fiancée's supposed engagement party as she searches for Bill.
