Arata discovers the world is not the same one as three days ago. To understand his role and get his cousin Hijiri back, he must enroll in a school of magic, there he meets the Trinity Seven, the most gifted of the mages at the school.

Arin decides to test Arata's powers by creating an energy barrier around his room, but after he escapes she tests him again, thus releasing his full potential by removing the limits the Grimoire had on him.

When the school is almost destroyed by Arata's breakdown phenomenon the students relax on a tropical island where they begin to train together.

Back at the school another breakdown phenomenon that causes the less magical students to sleep is occurring. The cause of the incident is coming from under the school where Yui lives, but is she the cause?

Arata dreams about various girls and in turn some of them fight over him. Later another phenomenon occurs in the library where they all end up getting transported to the eternal library where they meet Selina's twin sister.

The fight in the eternal library with Selina's twin sister ends in a draw as she becomes accustomed to her new powers. When the students return to the school Arata's training continues as they wait for Lieselotte's return.

Liese returns to continue the fight, but Arata beats her with the help of his grimoire who has taken human form as Sora.

Arata's training continues which he begins to take more seriously just in time for a trip to another school to investigate a phenomenon.

Arata, Sora and Mira investigate the other school where they run into another grimoire named "Fragments of the Iliad". Towards the end of the battle Arata transforms into his true demon lord form.

The ultimate demon lord, Astral Trinity, shows up in the form of Arata with a grotesque new appearance, but the real enemy might actually be Hijiri .

Back at the school a new Foe (Lugh) attacks the remaining trinity seven. Levi confronts her alone while the students remain hidden in the dream world, until the others return to lend a hand.

After the final battle with Hijiri, Arata and the trinity seven enjoy some quiet time together.

Arata is failing his classes and must receive special lessons from each of the trinity seven, but what he dreams the lessons will be like are a little different from reality.
