Disgraced ex-cop Lomax gets out of jail after spending 2 years for a crime perpetrated by his colleagues in the MET. He returns to his old patch in Chiswick where he pays a visit to his Solicitor, who informs him that his wife, Jen, is suing him for Divorce and his son, Steve is still missing. Lomax is later confronted by two Met Officers, who suggest, with menace, that he leaves their 'manor'. He informs them he is leaving London anyway. He returns to London in the hope of seeing her, but his father, who believes Lomax to be guilty of the crime he served two years in prison for, refuses to let him visit his mother. Lomax is working in a riverside pub. He is spotted by someone who is very nervous about Lomax being nearby, so he involves a visiting Australian, called Kenny, to intimidate Lomax into moving on. After a couple of attempts by Kenny, Lomax takes matters into his own hands and reverses the table. On Kenny, and after a bit of convincing, Kenny tells Lomax who he is working for. Lomax instantly recognises his Nemesis, as Neil Pember. Is he one of those who framed Lomax?
