When a wave of radiation spreads superhuman powers throughout the city, Tyler Wiggins's life is turned completely upside down as he finds out that he was affected too. Now Tyler and his best friend Josh must work to uncover the secrets behind the incident.

After the blast that radiated without explanation, Josh discovers the mysterious murders that have been happening rapidly throughout the city. After meeting an old friend - Nathan Rowe - the gang experiment with the limits of their new powers.

Josh has entered the panic stage after discovering more information about the deadly Vessels that roam the city. The gang finally understands the seriousness of the situation after finding a dead body. Simple research in newspaper articles can only go so far, so they decide that they are going to have to take extreme measures in order to find out what they are up against.

After breaking and entering, Tyler, Josh, and Nathan watch the security footage taken of Ethan Tanish's death. They finally see the true power of the masked man who wields multiple abilities. This motivates Tyler to become the hero he knew he was destined to be, and sets a new journey to go after the masked killer.

After working alone for some time, Josh has come across a new discovery; a possible suspect that could secretly be the masked killer. Josh and Tyler come up with a plan to go and talk to the suspected kid and see what they can further find.

With Nathan missing, Tyler discovers a possible location where Nathan could be held. When Josh sets off to save Nathan, he runs into the Masked Man. When things go south, Tyler and Josh come up with a new plan to save Nathan once and for all.

After hearing about one of Vessler's newest victims, Tyler decides that enough is enough and becomes determined to put a stop to the murderer's cruel actions. Josh becomes overwhelmed with all the fear that Vessler is striking into his head. After running into the vicious killer, a violent fight knocks off Vessler's mask, and his identity is revealed.

Josh hears about Tyler and Nathan's discovery about Vessler. Nathan takes control in attempt to fix the conflict. After Josh learns the devastating truth, he runs off to go see it for himself. Vessler shares the truth and leaves Josh in disbelief.

Tyler, Josh, and Nathan come up with a plan to defeat the Masked Killer once and for all. When the plan goes horribly wrong, the gang is forced to make hard decisions. Tyler must fight with all of his strength to protect his friends. However, everything comes with a cost, and every action has its consequences.
