It's only Ranmaru's first day on the police beat, but zombies from another dimension don't seem to care. After a close call, Ranmaru meets the elite police unit that specializes in zombie ass-kicking: Tokko. Japan is (once again) under attack by evil demons, ghoulish zombies, and the devil himself. Gumshoe agent Ranmaru Shindo joins the elite Tokko team to slice through the bad guys and avenge the death of his parents. Ranmaru and Ichiro meet a woman named Sakura Rokujo, a red haired beauty.

Ranmaru visits the hospital after a mysterious tattoo appears on his arm. But, as you're beginning to learn, where Ranmaru goes, trouble follows. Zombie attack! Ranmaru gets transferred to to the Tokko division even though he he still under the command of Tokki which makes Kunikida angry and thinks Akiha is responsible for his transfer.

Just when you thought things could(n't) get worse for the Tokko team, Ranmaru and Sakura have take a trip to "the other side." Tokko chooses to move Saya to a safer place which is Ryoko's apartment, to protect her. Ryoko goes sees the Tokki officer's in a surprise and gets information from Muramasa that he is the inside man that was paid by Taishi to provide information regarding the case of threatening him with his revolver.

Saya has been stolen, Ryoko has been arrested, and it's pandemonium for team Tokko. Check out the conclusion to the supernatural first season of Tokko- if you dare.
