Regular contributor and rabbit impersonator Matthew Butler gets his own life story with Chris Tarrant as Eamonn Andrews, Jackie Chan and Rick Parfitt are guests, and there's a screening of "Raspberry Rock".

Chris and the team attempt a "serious" introduction to the programme, there's a sermon from the Reverend Nathaniel Westminster, interviews with Daley Thompson and the Paul Jones Blues Band, plus street magic from Clive Webb.

After transmission problems the previous week, Tiswas returns with a joke "Normal Service will be resumed" title card. Chris and Sally burst through to welcome guests and games, including Chas 'n' Dave and "Spot The Benny".

Sally, Algernon, Houdi-Elbow and John are devastated when they believe that Chris has died. But as Chris walks past them, they realise someone else must be in the morgue. Also in the studio are Max Boyce, Trevor McDoughnut and Smello.

Lenny Henry appears on Tiswas's own version of "This Is Your Life", Norman Collier showcases his new ventriloquist act, Toyah is interviewed by Sally, and there's a meeting of the Bucket Of Water Supporters Club.

The penultimate episode for most of the cast, with some sequences shot in Paris. There's also Michael Palin playing various characters, including host of "A Fist For Europe", where Lenny's "Arnold Goatbutterer" has to knock out Europeans.

The end of an era for Tiswas, as it marked the final episode for most of the regulars, including Chris Tarrant, Lenny Henry, Bob Carolgees and John Gorman, who went on to make the late night OTT.
