Joe, Sam and Fred Are celebrating Joe's Birthday when he receives a present from his Uncle Joe. It is beautiful book with a cryptic warning of 'Be careful what you wish for'. Soon the boys are transported through time to the 18th century and find themselves prisoners of Blackbeard the pirate. Blackbeard is very clever and when they are all captured by the British Navy the boys must convince the court that they are not the Terrible Tripoli Trio as Blackbeard has dubbed them. They must get out of this predicament and search for the book which is their only hope of ...

The boys warp 100 years into the future and meet...their great-granddaughters.

When Same throws a Mongolian menu into The Book, the boys almost get turned into roadkill and meet the boy who grows up to become Genghis Khan.

Anna warps the boys back to Ancient Egypt, where they meet a Pharaoh and find themselves almost being mummified.

The boys warp back to Japan and get involved in a battle. The girls turn up just in time to save their lives, but then Same and Samantha get separated from the others when the The Book warps them away.

The boys warp to ancient Rome and are almost forced to fight a gladiator.

The girls accidentally warp into 1800 wilderness.

The boys help Leif Eriksson discover America.

Sam is feeling low because none of his inventions work.Joe decides it would be a good idea to travel to the future, get an invention, and bring it back so Sam can invent it. Instead of traveling to the future they travel back in time to the late 19th century where they run into Freddi who is trying to find out what happened to the electricity in her time. They have somehow interfered with Edison's invention process. They journey to Menlo Park and try to set things right.

A basketball game gets interrupted and the boys find themselves in Chichen Itza, Mexico, in the middle of a Maya ring ball court 1,000 years ago. In this game, the stakes are higher - if they lose, they lose their heads.

The trio discover the hard way that life in the Old West is nothing like a cowboy movie.

Fred finds out first-hand what it means to have a Napoleon complex when he and Joe warp back to Paris during 1815 and meet Napoleon Bonaparte.

Joe, Fred and Sam warp to Babylon to figure out who stole the book and meet King Nebuchadnezzar II and Queen Amytis, the creators of the famous Hanging Gardens.

Jodie, Sam and Fred land in 17th century Angola. They join the fierce Queen Jinga and battle warring tribes in a trek along the Kwanza River on their way to a historic meeting with the Portuguese governor.

The Book is found to be written in an unknown language and to solve the mystery Fred, Freddi and Samantha find themselves back on Easter Island.

Someone is tampering with Joe's family tree and he is starting to disappear. Sam and Fred trace the weak link back to the marriage of Prince Karna and Princess Lakshmi in 8th century India. A marriage contest is being held between Prince Karna and Prince Mahaloogie for the hand of Lakshmi. Sam and Fred find that Samantha and Freddi are also investigating as Jodi is disappearing as well. Sam and Fred must insure Karna's victory over Mahaloogie to keep history on track. But someone is helping Mahaloogie...a mysterious hooded figure.

A wild warp at the Olympia Diner sends Fred and Samantha to Ancient Greece during the Olympic games where they must team up with philosopher Plato to help avoid a historical disaster. Based on It's All Greek to Me.

Sam gets trapped inside The Book, and Anna, Fred and Joe travel back to the Tang dynasty in China in 621 AD to figure out how to get him out.

Fred, Sam and Samantha travel back to late 17th century Russia to search for the Star of Vladivostok. The star is a great ruby that used to belong to the family of Sam and Samantha's Grandpa Dima. Their search brings them in contact with Peter the Great who is trying to bring technological reforms to Russia. They become involved in his plans to build St. Petersburg but discover that the leader of the rebels who oppose Peter is their ancestor Alexander Kikin...who Peter has sentenced to death.

When the kids warp back to the Stone Age, they manage to decipher some cave paintings and find The Book in the camp of the Neanderthals.

Joe, Sam and Jodie must contend with Frankenstein's Monster.

Jodie and Freddi unexpectedly grab Joe and transport him to 1503 in Italy at the height of the Renaissance.

While stuck in a traffic jam Fred starts to mess around with the book and before anyone can stop him the boys have warped back to 1911 Antarctica and become part of Captain Robert F. Scott's expedition to the South Pole. Joe has been having dreams and believes that by traveling to an isolated Arctic Cape home to many penguins they can find the book and use it to go home. When the book is finally discovered it doesn't work...and what does Mad Jack have to do with all of this?

The girls hear a mysterious radio transmission, which Freddi recognizes as the voice of her heroine, pilot Amelia Earhart, who is broadcasting a distress message on her last flight.

Jodie, Sam and Fred search for the Time Map in the Topkapi Treasury Room of Suleiman's palace in the 16th Century Ottoman Empire. Trouble ensues when they discover that Mad Jack is also searching for it.

A pinball machine is actually one of Mad Jack's time bombs and Jodie, Joe, and Anna find themselves warped back to medieval Scotland to Castle Dunbar of Lady Agnes Randolph. While the kids search for the book with the help of Uncle Joe the castle is under siege by the English.
