Jamie and Owen are forced to sit through Elliot's stand-up routine as he prepares for his upcoming open mic night performance. The main problem is that Elliot isn't funny, and his two "roommates" aren't quite sure how to tell him. The other slightly more unique problem is that as Elliot is performing his material, Owen is losing his slip on reality, which forces him and Jamie to intervene and attempt to bring him back from the edge of madness.

Jamie is stranded in the middle of nowhere and his phone is almost out of battery. His best course of action? To call Elliot and ask him to pick him up. Unfortunately Elliot is preoccupied with a magical Rubiks Cube which seems capable of solving itself so he's going to be of no help. Jamie then decides to call Owen, who seems preoccupied with trying to get the remote into his hand without moving a muscle. Will Jamie be able to convince one of them to come pick him up, or is he destined to die in the cold?

Owen wants to get a job after deciding he's unhappy with just being the cute one in their group. So Elliot is forced to help him practice. It goes about as well as you could expect considering he refused to take his hat off and showed up wearing a floral blazer. And while the answers to his questions are honest, they might not necessarily be helpful in landing the coveted role of "oovoo java".

When Jamie discovers that Elliot ate the last slice of pizza he paid, it sends him on an introspective/film noir journey to the grocery store to purchase a replacement. He tackles discussion of trust, betrayal, redemption, forgiveness all while dancing along to the music in his car and yelling at people in traffic.

Owen's been dumped and hasn't gotten up from the couch in days, so Elliot decides to recruit Jamie's help to cheer him up. Jamie, who couldn't care less, gives an enthusiastic dance and then gives up, which prompts Elliot to threaten him until he helps. Jamie then asks Owen what's going on, and Owen basically reveals his "girlfriend" was foreign royalty who emailed him, asking for his credit card information to help her rebuild her regime.

When Jamie and Owen introduce a card game to Elliot that he quickly becomes better at than the two of them, they deal with it in their own unique ways. Jamie naturally grows irritated and starts to scrutinize Elliot's playing more. While Owen becomes distracted by thoughts that have nothing to do with the game whatsoever.

Elliot and Owen are waiting for some women to show up to the hot tub they're hanging out in, but the longer they're waiting the more inclined they become to start drinking the champagne. Eventually, they start getting inebriated at which point Jamie arrives, confused as to why they're in the hot tub at his therapist's office.

When Jamie and Elliot can't sleep because of Owen's snoring, Elliot makes himself a night cap while Jamie decides to take action into his own hands and wake him up. However, as they barge into his room they discover that he's not in there and that he's a left a recording device of him snoring under his pillow to mess with them.

In a desperate attempt to rack up "views", Elliot starts making ASMR videos only to be interrupted by a domestic dispute between Jamie and Owen over why Jamie was dropped from their bowling team. It ultimately culminates in violence, which prompts Elliot to do nothing except finish his video.

Elliot holds Jamie hostage and forces to listen to his poetry. Owen on the other hand is a willing and eager audience member. As the poem continues, things take an unexpected turn to Jamie's surprise, when Elliot seems to be capable of the impossible.

When Owen becomes a nation-wide phenomenon and multi-billionaire for his YouTube channel where he reviews snowballs, Elliot does his best to leech off some semblance of fame for himself, while Jamie collapses in complete disbelief at what the ludicrous nature of it.
