Anna and Miles have doubts about each other after finally getting together at a party. Egg says goodbye to both his father and his writing career. Milly is taken aback by the arrival of an attractive new trainee at the firm.

Anna and Miles are assigned to the same case; Milly has phone sex with Egg; Warren's ex-boyfriend Ferdy interrupts a dinner party.

Ferdy denies that he's gay; Miles spreads a nasty rumour about Anna's temperament at work; Egg gambles with the household money.

Miles is pleased with the response to his personal ad; Egg gets a job in a cafe; a frustrated Warren goes out and lands in a world of trouble.
