Cameras follow vets Peter Wright and Julian Norton as they help several local participants get their livestock ready for the biggest event of the local farming calendar.

Katy needs help when a lamb is born with five legs. Percy the peacock escapes onto a housing estate. Julian gets up close and personal with a burly bullock.

Peter rushes to save a ewe experiencing a difficult birth. Benji the terrier needs something removing from his stomach. Helen battles to save a newborn calf with a life-threatening hernia.

Julian dashes to an emergency as a heifer struggles to give birth. He also has to try and catch an injured swan. Katy rushes to an emergency lambing.

Teddy, the prize winning ferret has a problematic lump. Julian rushes to an emergency with an unborn calf. Peter treats a rabbit and a pregnant Boston Terrier.

Peter goes to attend to a feisty Highland cow while Helen teams up with Julian to help a young alpaca and her newborn through a tough pregnancy.

Peter battles the elements to administer pregnancy tests to a small herd of cattle. A stolen dog has been recovered but a search party hunts for the Green's missing cat.

Peter Wright is called to an emergency at a local farm where a Limousin cow is struggling to give birth. A baby donkey is brought into the surgery - and everyone falls in love with him.
