It's round two of The Battles on The Voice, with coaches will.i.am, Meghan Trainor, Olly Murs and Sir Tom Jones returning to their infamous red chairs as their acts go head to head and fight for a place on their coach's team. It's the second of the Knockout shows on The Voice UK, in which 12 acts sing for a place in the Semi Final. Coaches Meghan Trainor, Olly Murs, will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones can pick only one act from their teams to progress in the competition, so there are some very tough decisions to make. Those who make it through will be one step closer to the chance of winning a recording contract.

There are four coaches, all famous in the music industry. During the blind auditions these coaches will turn around in their chairs when they hear a performer they want in their team. If there are more coaches who want a performer, he or she gets to choose who they want as their coach. During the battles there will be two or three contestants from the same team up against each other, performing the same song together. The coach must choose one of them to get through to the live shows.
