Shelby, the bartender, is visited by a past love which puts her blood sugar out of whack. Meg, a favorite regular who has all of life figured out, tells her about her plans for her 5 year anniversary with her husband, Ben, who unexpectedly enters the bar making out with her assistant, Brittney. Chaos and confusion ensue until Shelby takes things into her own hands and threatens Ben and Brittney with a bat.

Michael storms into the bar fully dressed in drag, but with a bare face to confront a drunken Patrick. Patrick was supposed to do his make up for his first drag event ever but never showed up. The bartender helps transform Michael into his best drag self, Dame Ophelia Legs.

Peyton, a naive southern belle who is new to the city waits at the bar for a first date with a stranger she met on a plane. She quickly bonds with Shelby, the bartender until her date arrives and she is warned via code word that she needs to ditch him.. ASAP.

A birthday celebration is underway for Drew, who is joined by his awkward best friend Ezra, and the long lost love of his life Ester. Drew divulges to Shelby, the bartender, that Ester has a fatal illness. Drew faces a tough decision: whether or not to confess his love to her.

Mia and Sophie, a young couple in love plan to come out to Mia's long time best friend, Anthony and his wife Katherine. Before they can share the great news, Katherine mistakenly suspects a romance between Anthony and Mia...and accuses her of getting in his pants.

There is a domino effect of how the remaining bar regulars affect each other unknowingly while existing in the same space. Queen Ester and Meg try to figure out the meaning of life, Mia and Sophie fall deeper in love, Patrick spills a drink on Dame Ophelia Legs, Peyton meets Ezra for the first time, Drew considers professing his love to Ester, and the Bartender finally pours herself a drink for the night, Amaro.
