Paul plans to date Peter's cousin Hilary, who is extraordinarily rich, but Peter warns him that she also is a cheapskate.

Paul's younger brother Chris and his friend Harold Keebler decide to prove whether Paul or Harold's father were the bigger wartime hero.

Paul meets Stephanie and takes a liking to her dog, and that makes her want to marry him.

Paul meets the very cold, distant, and rich editor Lila Westbrook, and hopes to trick her into warming up to him.

Comics, Inc. runs a contest, and first prize is a week in Hollywood with Paul as an escort. The winner is an elderly and maternal woman.

Paul receives a telegram informing him that Buddy Parker, a US Marine who saved his life during the Korean War, is coming to visit him. Buddy turns out to be a nurse.

Paul meets a beautiful woman on the beach and arranges a dinner date with her, but her twin sister shows up at the restaurant instead and gives Paul the cold shoulder.

An undiscovered Hollywood actress fakes a suicide to get publicity.

Paul claims to be exhausted by his hectic social life and goes to a health farm to rest. It turns out that everyone else there is at least 60 years old, except for a beautiful young woman.

Chris, Paul's younger brother, comes for a visit so that he can have a quiet place to study for school but ends up having fun on the beach while Paul stays home with the math books.

Paul travels to France to spend a night in Paris but meets a female author and decides to stay longer. Meanwhile, Larsen is expecting to meet Lucienne Palette in Malibu, a new French author client.

Peter, a committed bachelor, receives a telegram from his grandmother ordering him to come home for a wedding, which he thinks is his own.

Larsen threatens to replace Paul's comic strip with a new one, 'Bachelor Girl', drawn by the charming Betty Boyden. The only way to remove this threat to his livelihood is to get Betty married - but Paul's alarm is increased when he finds that the man in Betty's cartoons bears a strong resemblance to himself.

Larsen sends beautiful and sexy Dottie as a messenger to tell Paul to quit playing and get back to work.

Paul is sued by a woman who claims that she is the inspiration for the heroine in his comic strip. His defense is handled by a beautiful young attorney who just graduated from Harvard.

Unable to get his work done because of constant interruptions, Paul talks Peter into exchanging houses with him for a few days.

While Paul and Peter are vacationing at a winter resort, Peter brags that a pretty woman and fellow guest at the resort finds him attractive. Paul decides to impress her himself by demonstrating his ice-skating skills.

Aboard an ocean liner on their way to Europe, Paul, Peter, and Larsen meet a beautiful woman who threatens to jump overboard unless one of them agrees to marry her.

Concerned that some of Paul's escapades could lead to a fatal accident - thus ending the most popular strip in his syndication stable - John decides to insure Paul's life for a substantial amount of money. As a backup plan he arranges for another cartoonist to take over the strip in case of a less permanent injury, much to Paul's disgust.

A movie company wants to shoot some scenes at Paul's house while he is away, and Peter gives them permission to do so, mainly because the movie's cast includes an attractive woman.

Paul and Peter visit Las Vegas, and an early winning streak seems to justify their premonition that they will be lucky.

On vacation in Spain, Paul meets a beautiful woman, the country's most famous female matador.

Paul persuades a beautiful young Swedish woman into posing as a mermaid to distract Larsen and Peter.

Paul wants to date a British woman, whose only interest is horses, and decides that the only way to win her affection is to show an interest in them by offering to train one.

Peter, frustrated because Paul always gets the girl, falls into a deep sleep and dreams of a world in which he is a handsome prince who women find irresistible.

Television host Gordon Harris interviews Paul in his living room and Peter, feeling left out, interrupts the live transmission to complain about not being invited to join Paul on the show.

Paul is not interested in a chance to lecture at a college until he finds out it is an all-women's institution.

John asks Paul and Pete for a big favor - allow him to use their apartment to impress an Indian maharani so that she will give him the contract to write her memoirs.
