Deaths start being reported to the police, caused by what seems to be a new chemical narcotic. The police bust a sale and arrest a young dealer. Nora is called in on the case and meets the new police Alexander for the first time

The police continue to try to determine where the blue pills are coming from. There are more cases of young people being seriously harmed. Alexander hears a young woman has been brought unconscious to the hospital.

When the family's matriarch ends up in the hospital and asks her daughter to handle a sale in her absence, her son goes behind their back to close a deal quickly with a real estate entrepreneur.

Jonna is shaken after the disturbing events in Sandhamn. She makes several bad decisions, which prove to be fateful. Alexander becomes involved in the case and Nora helps him since she is already involved from multiple angles.

A fisherman finds a female body in his fishing nets near Sandhamn. Alexander and Miriam take the call. Once there, Alexander reacts unusually strong to how the police handle the dead body. It's almost as if he knows who she is.

Alexander and Miriam go out to investigate Sara's cottage. They have also got their hands on the history on her dating account. Anders returns home with signed divorce papers to confront his wife and Kristina finally dares to hope.

Carl-Johan is appointed Jubilee doctor and celebrates it with a big party in his house at Sandhamn. The party gets an abrupt end with a murder. Nora's daughter Anna, who works at the party, becomes a witness to the incident.

Alexander's wife, who had disappeared years ago, is found holding the knife that had killed her dad, the famous academic during his birthday celebration. And then things evolve .
