Talent agent Nancy's routine is disrupted after years when her husband Ken suddenly retires from the Navy. Having a stay at home spouse causes considerable conflict when he starts changes everything to military style.

Lorraine suspects husband Glen is conducting an extra marital relationship. Nancy and Ken try to offer helpful advice but end up making things a little worse.

Nancy and Kenneth are enjoying the anniversary gift from Terry when their daughter Lorraine with husband Glen stop by with upsetting news.

When she is libeled Nancy goes to great effort to clear her name. But the result is her husband Ken ends up feeling humiliated.

Nancy is lunching with her rival agent Melissa when they overhear producers talking about a great new talent. The women compete to see who sign the novice actress first.

Nancy fears for friend Terry's mental health and works extra hard to get him an acting job thinking that will help.

Kenneth tries his hand at writing a book about his Naval years. Wife Nancy attempts to help but the collaboration puts stress on the household.

Nancy is concerned that Kenneth is unhappy with his retirement. Her solution is to offer him a partnership in her talent agency but it could mean the demise of her marriage.
