The townspeople are outraged at the colonial authorities who burned the home of a farmer who can't pay his taxes, and soon a mob tries to hang an officer, but Daniel Boone intervenes.

Historical (and, of necessity, somewhat fictionalized) docudrama of the Revolutonary War Anerican fighter and hero, Colonel Francis Marion. Agreeing to "join the cause" but only on his own terms, he and his specially-selected band of men successfully waged guerilla-type warfare against the British, in the forests and swamps of the Carolinas.

Walt claims that most dads are forgotten men, receiving little more than a gaudy tie on Father's Day. To correct such an oversight, he dedicates this episode to fathers everywhere. Goofy then takes over hosting duties as an average father, explaining how he spends an average day.
