In this first episode a group of adventures including Professor challenger and his grandson billy are being pursued by Brazilian armed forces until getting trapped in a mysterious plateau by a massive earthquake, along with two scheming mercenaries. In this new world they find a lost tribe of the Ina including princess Mina of the Araya and her mother empress coya, Yet all is not well in the plateau as Coya's brother Urcon realizes the outsiders might stand in the way of summoning the dark gods Arkthulon and rugoth'kalla to earth and so convinces his sister to stop ...

Billy not over the death of his mother, runs off into the wilderness after his father and Coya start making romantic advances towards each other leading him to the lair of the now banished Urcon. Urcon pretends to be Billy's friend in order to unlock a hidden tomb which supposedly only the pure of heart can open. Billy opens the door to the tomb and Urcon asks its inhabitant for supreme power accidentally awakening a monster that acts like a walking pestilence which can only be destroyed by the power of forgiveness. Can Billy's father forgive his son for this rash ...

While wandering through a volcanic valley Maplewhite and his mercenaries discover strange rocks with weird effects and abilities. Maplewhite steals the stones and tries to sell them to Challenger in the village, yet unbeknownst to all of them they are not stones at all but the eggs of a very large, aggressive and predatory dinosaur.

Professor Sommerlee finds a key which he claims lead to a mythical forbidden city, much to Challenger's chagrin. Urcon realizes that this is the resting place of the dark gods, who are much more extraterrestrial than they were once thought of.

Right as Urcon begins his ritual to reawaken the dark gods one of the inhabitants of the stasis pods wakes up, a small alien child named Xir, who might know the secrets of the lost city. Now all three teams race to find Xir either to save him, gain fortune, or in Urcon's case the end of the world.
