Preston helps his best friend Noah as he tries to make a half-court shot to win a $50,000 scholarship. Meanwhile, Amanda goes after a psychic who scammed a family friend.

Preston meets a cute girl at school, but she proves overbearing. Meanwhile, Amanda searches for a con artist who lies to elderly victims about winning the lottery and tricks them into sending him checks.

Tommy files first tax return and gets flagged by IRS. Preston convinces Noah to let Veronica use his car for her driver's license retest.

Amanda and Mitch are determined to find whoever is defrauding grieving families of military members. Noah and Preston try to pledge a fraternity and Pres objects to any favorable treatment because he's in a wheelchair.

Amanda connects with someone online who is using subterfuge to scam lonely types on a dating site. Preston tries out for the school's archery team and thinks he made it but the coach states his disability won't allow it.

Franklin rescues a fellow carrier being viciously assaulted, but the criminal escapes. Mitch, Amanda and Franklin work with a sketch artist to find him. Preston reluctantly tutors Veronica's boyfriend athlete Brian but learns he cheats.

Amanda and Mitch lead the investigation into the menacing mail the dean at Jamestown University is receiving. Veronica moves from her parent's home so Preston and Noah help her but her new lodgings are on the scary side.

Inspectors Amanda and Mitch must move fast when someone targets medical staffers when deadly envelopes of Ricin. Preston and Noah learn of the proposed closing of their college's hangout so they lead a group to stop it.

Preston's friend Noah wants the perfect birthday gift for his dad, a sports fanatic. Noah buys a signed Marino jersey from dealer Mr. Ellison. Amanda and Mitch are currently investigating Ellison for defrauding collectors.

Noah films Preston for a movie and Amanda and Mitch catch a criminal red-handed with surveillance tactics.

Mitch, Amanda, and their postal team have a tough investigation involving money order fraud. Preston tries out for the university debate team but gets off on the wrong foot with Dr. Dennis, the coach, who finds Preston difficult.

Mitch and Amanda pose as a married couple who lost their home because of weather. The idea is to ensnare someone defrauding storm victims. Preston's expensive race wheelchair is stolen so Noah and Veronica help in a plan for it's recovery.

Postal inspectors Wainwright and Ohlmeyer investigate someone bilking people out of their savings in a pyramid scheme. Preston, Noah, and Veronica discover it affects student Carl Gonzalez and become involved keeping him in school.

Amanda and Mitch investigate a claim by Nora Maxwell that her investment adviser Michael Winderson has defrauded her. Veronica's co-worker Amanda has her suspicious so she, Preston, and Noah do their own sleuthing regarding stolen identity.

Inspectors Amanda and Mitch meet with Franklin Barry who explains how his identity was stolen. They target Tyler Bristol who is living above his means. Veronica returns to old boyfriend Dallas but Preston learns he's still cheating on her.

Amanda and Mitch go after an expert in identity theft. Preston, Noah and Veronica auction themselves to do chores for charity but then feel that the winning bidder Becky is taking advantage of them.

Amanda and Mitch learn of a scam involving debt collection but the perpetrator Ian Gaffney proves elusive. Preston, Noah, and Veronica team up for the college talent show but artistic differences break up the act.

Amanda and Mitch learn of a charity fraud raising money that is pocketed by the scammers. Amanda has an idea of a fake award to locate them. Preston is a consultant on a film and the star Kelly takes a liking to him.

Veronica sings the National Anthem at a Jamestown University basketball game and Amanda and Mitch investigate a lottery scam.

Veronica goes abroad and Preston tries to confess his feelings for her before she leaves. Elsewhere: Amanda investigates a suspect who is scamming a local church.
