Following a brief whirlwind romance, career-woman Teddy gets engaged to widower Max, but the prospect of becoming an instant-parent to a little girl and a horny teenage boy leaves her feeling dazed and confused.

Teddy is forced to choose between a meeting with Hillary Clinton or going the art show at Carter's school. Meanwhile, Judy and Hillary attend a women's workshop but find themselves appalled by the message; and Alan tries to find a charity event for Tom Arnold to endorse.

Teddie boasts of her abilities to play Wonder Woman, but on a day when her rhythm is thrown off, she shows up at Carter's school bake sale with a sexually suggestive cake.

Teddie learns that Max was briefly in a relationship with Abby, the mother of Eliza's best friend, so she goes out of her way to befriend her.

After Teddie advises Carter on winning over a girl, he comes off looking like a stalker. Also, Teddie and Max attend a premarital counseling class, and Leeza Gibbons is the talk of the town after Hillary outfitted her in a sheer dress.

Max decides to take lessons so he can dance at his wedding, but he learns he has two left feet. Meanwhile, Hillary encourages Judy to be a bitch to get ahead in business.

Teddy offers to organize Eliza's school auction, but her deeds are scrutinized by a group of snobby moms who perceive her as pretentious.

When Max's best friend comes to town, he kisses Teddy goodbye - and slips her the tongue. Meanwhile, Judy and Hillary are beside themselves when Teddy makes Gladys a bridesmaid.

When Teddie writes a magazine cover story about her romance, Max comes off looking like a stud. Also, Judy is dumbfounded by Alan's way with celebrities, and Carter plots revenge when his family tapes over his movie.

Teddy's plans for an international Christmas celebration are thwarted by the arrival of her dominating mother, whom Max secretly invited for the holidays.

Teddie becomes overprotective when Carter starts dating an older girl. Meanwhile, Hillary carries on an online affair with a stranger.

After Hillary passes out on the couch, Max remarks that he doesn't like her, so Teddy attempts to manipulate them into liking each other.

Judy announces that she's broken up with longtime boyfriend Marcus and is marrying Russell, a new client. Also, Carter tries to catch the flu from Eliza and Max.

Teddy's racy photo spread for Esquire magazine is published just as Max's parents make a surprise visit.

After Carter gets grounded for breaking curfew and drinking a beer, he finds an old home movie and realizes Max was a stoner.

Carter becomes popular when he gets a job at Korndog King. Meanwhile, Teddie adopts a psycho cat.

Carter gets a big head from schmoozing with a pretentious rock star. Also, Hillary dates a young man whom she used to babysit.

Teddie offers Judy the apartment she isn't using, but she changes her mind when she realizes it provides her and Max with some privacy from the kids.

Judy's and Hillary's bachelorette party for Teddie entails an unexpected slumber party at her former best friend's house. Meanwhile, Carter performs a psychological video experiment on Max for his science project.

A smothering Teddie embarrasses Carter at his basketball game. Also, Eliza showers Teddie with gifts for mother's day, and Alan is put in charge of parking cars at Teddie's wedding.

Teddie's dream of a perfect wedding is shattered when she drags everyone to city hall to elope in an effort to appease Eliza, who's desperate to call her mommy.
