A priest who fights wrongdoing with his fists gets in trouble with the police and has to relocate to Seoul, but is new neighborhood will be at least as challenging.

Father Kim meets with his old mentor, the warm and pacific Father Lee, and his new colleagues and parishioners, but his temper is always close to the surface. Meanwhile, Hwang Cheol-beom and his hoodlums harass the church, and Hae-il's intention to stay out of trouble is tested.

Hae Il helps out the protestors at the ceremony and confronts Cheol Bum. Kyeong Seon gets a bribe from the accused of her case. New recruit Seung Ah joins Dae Young's team and becomes his partner. Meanwhile, Jang Ryong and his men make a scene at the church.

Jan Ryong and his men are released without any penalty. Father Lee gets a call in the middle of the night. Next day, he is found dead at a mountain nearby. Hae Il requests an investigation, but the Gudam Police and the prosecutor refuse. Police announce that Father Lee was involved in various crimes, and Hae Il gets furious.

Hae Il is taken to custody for making a scene at the police station. Kyeong Seon lets him go and tells him to stop investigating. Hae Il goes to the hospital to take Father Lee's body. However, Dae Young who was guarding the body stops him. Hae Il learns that Father Lee and Cheol Bum had problems regarding the consignment operation of the facility.

Hae Il meets the people who claim to be the victim of Father Lee's crimes. He finds out that they were abetted by someone behind. With the gathered proof, Hae Il asks Kyeong Seon to reinvestigate the victims. Meanwhile, the Archdiocese acknowledges Father Lee as guilty and banishes him.

Hae Il goes to the ceremony where Cheol Bum gets awarded. He meets Cheol Bum and other officials who are related to the case. Cheol Bum tells Hoon Seok to do a background check on Hae Il. Hae Il holds a mass, but only a few people come to the church. Meanwhile, Dong Ja orders Cheol Bum to bring a new face into the game.

Cheol Bum tells Yong Moon to take over welfare facilities. The officials gather and plan their next move. Hae Il goes through Father Lee's belongings. He finds news articles and documents regarding Gudam's corruption. Hae Il takes measure to reopen the case. He gets to participate in the investigation, but he must team up with Dae Young.

Hae Il and Dae Young team up and start the investigation. They go to see the people who made false testimonies. However, both of them are missing, and Hae Il suspects that Cheol Bum is behind their disappearance. Seung Ah checks the CCTV footage, and Yong Moon comes to Gudam.

Kyeong Seon runs into Hae Il at the convenience store. Hae Il gives a speech, and Kyeong Seon changes her prosecution on the Idol case. However, the case becomes big trouble because of an unexpected incident. Meanwhile, Hae Il goes to his old friend for the investigation.

Hae Il and Seung Ah secure the witnesses who were hiding. However, Godzhayev's men make an attack and take them away on their way to the police station. The borough office withdraws the management of welfare facilities by Gudam Church. Hae Il, Seung Ah, and Dae Young go to see Godzhayev.

Dae Young goes to the charnel house where his old partner is placed. Cheol Bum calls Dae Young to his office and tells him to find out the source of the information regarding the witnesses. Meanwhile, Yong Moon visits the orphanage. Hae Il goes to Maegakgyo's church and meets Cheol Bum.

Hae Il goes to the Maegakgyo church and warns Yong Moon not to come to the welfare facility. Kyeong Seon asks Seung Ah about her informant but Seung Ah refuses to answer. However, Kyeong Seon finds out that Hae Il was the source. Meanwhile, Dong Ja wants a new member to help her out, and Seok Tae introduces Kyeong Seon to her.

Cheol Bum gets suspicious about Hae Il after the fight. Hae Il gets a briefing from Dae Young and Seung Ah about the people of the cartel. Hae Il and Dae Young investigate the food service company which is connected to the cartel. Meanwhile, Yong Moon hatches a plot to put Hae Il into trouble.

Detective Koo gets hit by the bat Hae Il swings at Yong Moon and is diagnosed with a concussion. Yong Moon had someone film the scene with a mobile phone to use it against Hae Il. Meanwhile, to tame Kyeong Seon, Seok Tae plans to invite her to the group.

Dae Young is threatened by Cheol Beom to stop Hae Il's plans, which reminds him of the past incident. Nevertheless, to make those responsible held responsible, Hae Il and Seung Ah get ready to raid Wangmat Foods.

Gudam-gu Health Office bribery becomes controversial, and Dong Ja makes a hasty move. She claims her innocence, but Hae Il brings evidence of bribery to support him. Other cartel members seek their way to take care of themselves. Kyeong Seon asks Seok Tae for a last chance and gets back to Seoul.

Congressman Park and Superintendent Nam plan to bring in someone on their side. Cheol Bum threatens Dae Young to find out who stole the ledger from Wangmat Foods. Warrant for the bribery case gets denied because Kyeong Seon became the prosecutor in charge again. Meanwhile, Cheol Bum's men find out who took the ledger.

Cheol Bum and his men try to kill Hae Il, but Dae Young takes a tact to save him. Chief Prosecutor Kang praises Kyeong Seon and tells her to join the cartel. Meanwhile, Seung Ah finds a connection between Father Lee's death and Cheol Bum. Hae Il, Dae Young, and Seung Ah go on a secret investigation.

Hae Il finds out that Cheol Bum's villa is connected to Father Lee's death. Kyeong Seon meets Cheol Bum, and Kyeong Seon draws a clear line between them. Congressman Park and Superintendent Nam make a move, and the other cartel members including Kyeong Seon meet up at the villa.

Kyeong Seon runs into Hae Il and Dae Young at the villa. Hae Il knocks her out to escape, and Dae Young successfully makes the break in into a theft. Dong Ja, Seok Tae, and Cheol Bum suspect Congressman Park and Superintendent Nam and plan to get rid of them. Meanwhile, Seok Tae orders his informant to investigate Hae Il.

Kyeong Seon finds out that Hae Il was the man she met at the villa. Seok Tae orders Cheol Bum to get rid of Congressman Park. Yong Moon and Godzhayez find out about the hidden vault. Song Sac overhears about the assassination plan and tells Hae Il and Dae Young about it. Hae Il follows Congressman Park to save him.

Kyeong Seon helps Hae Il to run away from the police. She is certain that the masked man was Hae Il and asks him about his reasons for his acts. Dae Young and Seung Ah make up a murder case report to investigate Cheol Bum's villa. Meanwhile, an unexpected man visits Hae Il.

Kyeong Seon finds out about the members of the cartel. The cartel also takes actions to eliminate evidence. Dae Young goes to Cheol Bum's office and finds out about the assassination plan, and Hae Il goes to protect Congressman Park.

Cheol Bum plans to betray the cartel members. Seung Ah interrogates the attacker, but Superintendent Nam interferes her. Hae Il tracks down where Diabol members are. Dae Young meets Ryong to get information, and Hae Il lets Kyeong Seon stay at the church after the break-in.

Dae Yong finds out about the connection behind Rising Moon from Ryong. Seok Tae orders Joong Kwon to take care of Hae Il and Cheol Bum. Sister Kim goes out to tell people to come back to church. Kyeong Seon decides to investigate Rising Moon and suggests Hae Il to join hands.

Cheol Bum gets attacked by assassins at a parking lot. Cheol Bum goes to Joong Kwon and tells him not to come at him. But Joong Kwon threatens Cheol Bum to be a loyal dog to the cartel members. Meanwhile, Hae Il and Kyeong Seon make a plan to attack Rising Moon.

With the duplicated fingerprints of the cartel members, Cheol Bum tries to open the safe. Father Han plays an important role in Hae Il's scheme. Anton gets out of prison, and Kyeong Seon and Seung Ah follow him find secret ledgers and the hidden drugs. Meanwhile, Dong Ja tries to conciliate Cheol Bum.

Seung Ah and Dae Young are submitted to a disciplinary measure. Hae Il and Kyeong Seon make a scheme to find out who is the actual owner of Rising Moon. Hae Il and Dae Young go to see the accountant of Rising Moon. Meanwhile, Kyeong Seon goes to Seok Tae and ask for forgiveness.

Kyeong Seon and Seok Tae play golf with Mr. Kim, and they seem to come to a settlement. Hae Il and Dae Young go to the gambling house to find the files. They meet Oh Kwang Du and receive a suggestion from him. Meanwhile, Kyeong Seon gets to know the secret of Sister Kim.

Sister Kim wins a game against Kwang Du and gets a thumb drive which has every detailed information regarding Rising Moon's accounting files. After acquiring the thumb drive, Father Kim passes it to Kyeong Seon. Meanwhile, a rumor about Father Kim's past gets spread all over the nation.

Since the rumor gets spread all over the nation, Father Kim is asked to be sent to Argentina for a mission. To have him stop from going abroad, Kyeong Seon comes up with a plan and asks for Dae Young's help. Meanwhile, Cheol Bum asks Kyeong Seon to be on the same side.

Hae Il loses his temper because Joong Kwon messed with Seung Ah and Sister Kim. Cheol Bum visits Dong Ja and promises to look after her. Kyeong Seon tells Young Soo to dig Seok Tae's back. Hae Il and Kyeong Seon find a way to break in the safe and decide to lay a scheme.

Hae Il, Dae Young, Seung Ah, and Kyeong Seon carry out their plan to get the money in the safe. They go to Daebum Trading and start their strategy. To succeed in the scheme, Dae Young and Hae Il bring a powerful tactic. Because of the tactic, every person of Jang Ryong's gang is up to the knees.

Hae Il, Kyeong Seon, and Cheol Bum are trapped in the vault where the three of them went to find 150 million dollars. When they're about to be out of mind, Vladimir Godzhayev breaks the walls of the vault from the outside. After escaping from the vault, Cheol Bum offers Hae Il to join hands to catch Joong Kwon.

Father Han disguises himself as a lawyer and starts to persuade Dong Ja to share the truth behind the Gudam-gu cartel, Maegakgyo, and those involved. Meanwhile, Hae Il and Dae Young find out where Joong Kwon is. With the help of Song Sac, the two of them take down Joong Kwon and his subordinates.

Father Han loses his consciousness and falls into a critical condition. Hae Il decides to avenge on Joong Kwon to protect others. Cheol Bum and Joong Kwon scheme to flee abroad. Meanwhile, Jang Ryong gets arrested for disposing Father Lee's body.

Hae Il traces Joong Kwon's whereabouts down. Hae Il gets to see the video that Seung Ah sent to him and realizes that Cheol Bum is related to Father Lee's death. Hae Il goes to Cheol Bum to avenge, and Cheol Bum tells him what happened the day Father Lee died. Dae Young visits Hae Il to persuade him not to resign as a priest.

Hae Il comes for a showdown with Joong Kwon. Seeing Joong Kwon holding Sister Kim hostage only makes Hae Il more determined to put an end to the ill-fated relationship with Joon Kwon. Hae Il starts fighting Joong Kwon's underlings, and Hae Il gets seriously hurt. In the meantime, Kyeong Seon and Dae Young come to help Hae Il.

The case of Joong Kwon is solved, and everyone starts to move on. Hae Il decides to quit being a priest. Father Han finally wakes up and Kyeong Seon turns herself in. On the day Hae Il leaves the church and goes abroad, everyone else sees him off. Just then, someone makes an unexpected visit to Hae Il.
