Recently released from prison, a man plots revenge against his ex-wife and her new husband.

A rookie is assigned to ride with an unhinged, philosophizing, power-hungry sheriff. During that night, an unassuming traffic stop will change all their lives.

A jealous gangster orders his most obedient hitman to either let him have his girlfriend or kill her. Caught between his duty and his love, the hitman finds a third way out.
