Chris finds himself knocking on the Charles Street house door looking for a new life. He meets the eclectic roommates and wonders whether the Commercial Drive neighbourhood and its diverse vibe will be the fresh beginning he needs.

Now that Emily is in LA, Max is at Leo's bar pining for her. Aubrey discovers someone's secret in the recycling bin. Chris is faced with temptations in his new neighbourhood that he's tried to leave behind.

Max's Dad gives him an ultimatum, he hopes his new friend Mia can help. Gina and her boyfriend Jeff's attempt to get closer backfires. The household gets ready for Leo's 30th, but Chris struggles to let go of his crutch.

Leo seems lost in his own birthday shenanigans and caught off guard by Aubrey's goodwill gesture. Max is thrilled to find Em home from LA and Jeff takes action to learn more about Gina's new roommate.

Jeff and Gina take a big step while Leo makes a move of his own. Chris gets caught off guard by Jeff's insight on his past.

Gina tells Em some news she's been keeping close. Leo learns more about what Aubrey's been running away from. Jeff has some realizations about life in the Charles Street house. Chris is on the edge and attempts to make amends.

Chris starts taking recovery seriously. The roommates go to the Rio for Max's fundraiser but Gina is not being herself. Leo gets an unexpected guest at their door.
