Two years later, Claudia finally completes her resurrection spell, Ezran plans a surprise for Katolis, and Janai takes Amaya on a secret mission.

Claudia and Terry go on a trek to retrieve a powerful magical object, and Viren struggles with the memory of his traumatic fall. In Katolis, Callum tries to translate the mysterious runes engraved in a magical mirror.

Zubeia and Zym visit Katolis, and not everyone is happy to meet them. Callum deals with the sudden return of an old friend, and Claudia finds what she was looking for - but she won't be taking it without a fight.

Zubeia reveals the story of Aaravos' past. A misunderstanding at the Sunfire camp sparks tension between the humans and the Sunfire Elves. And Claudia and Viren open the chrysalis and release the messenger of Aaravos.

Our heroes travel to Umber Tor to meet the Archdragon Rex Igneous. When they find the entrance blocked, they must search the Uncharted Forest for another way in. Meanwhile, the homunculus leads Viren and Claudia on a wild goose chase.

Our heroes search for Soren in the Drakewood and run into trouble with Earthblood Elves. At Karim's insistence, Janai decides Lucia's fate.

Callum and co. take a dangerous path to Rex Igneous. Claudia and Soren confront the past.

Callum, Rayla, Ezran, and Zym meet Rex Igneous, the Archdragon of Earth, with unexpected results. In Lux Aurea, important decisions are made.

The search for Aaravos culminates in catastrophic confrontations beneath Umber Tor. Elsewhere, Janai responds to Karim's challenge.
