This is story that starts out as a documentary about a woman, Deborah Logan, who is suffering from Alzheimer's Disease. A camera crew is given permission to film her condition as she slowly deteriorates. Her daughter lives with her and takes care of her mother while she begins acting strange. What begins as a disease is transformed into something much more sinister and it's apparent that something has taken hold of Deborah that can't be explained.
