The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley

When Ed takes his cousin's place driving a hansom cab, he ends up in a horse race.

Ed foolishly thinks he's been asked to play triangle for the city's philharmonic. Suddenly he's been arrested for a robbery he didn't do on his way to the concert hall.

Ed is hanging out with Wendall, who is the annoying brother of his crush - the amateur actress Miss Malone. Ed and Wendall go to the amusement park. They are off on a rocket ride to another planet which is ruled by an alien queen.

Ed's landlady Deidre Freebus asks him to look after the apartment building, while she's on vacation with her husband. Ed puts his skills into fixing the water heater and goes down the drain into the ocean. He ends up on an island, where he finds Amelia Earhart-esque aviator.

Ed is trying to find a birthday present for Miss Malone. Unfortunately he gets stuck in a crate. Miss Malone, on the other hand is very depressed after she's been snubbed for a part in a TV movie. She grows older and meets a guardian angel, who shows her what life would be if she had never been born.

Accidentally Ed joins the Army after he got on the wrong line to return a library book.

When Ed's pet goldfish Moby is missing, he hires a television-obsessed sea captain to find it.

Ed has to take a picture of all of his neighbors in order to fulfill the rules of a contest, he has won.

Miss Malone calls on Ed to teach her how to drive. But after an accident, they turn into wandering spirits who haunt Mr. Freebus.

Ed is heading to his aunt's house for a game of Monopoly, when he is caught up in the same tornado that sent Dorothy to Oz. Now he is on the farm with Aunt Em and Uncle Henry. There, they meet a traveling summer stock show and the director, who wants to go to Broadway.

Ed runs to the store to get 'hot dog franks' for a party, when the store turns out to resemble the Bates Motel. He witnesses Der Bingle robbing the proprietor. Now Ed must testify and go into the Witness Protection Program.

Ed checks into the hospital for a tonsillectomy, where his roommate is a werewolf.

Irving Cohen pops in for a visit and aids Ed to reveal a couple of hucksters.
