A member of a schoolboy safety patrol in one of our typical cities tells the story of how children can prevent accidents by taking wise and careful traffic precautions. At the end of 1955 it had delivered useful traffic safety pointers to 11,823,000 young americans in the 5th, 6th and 7th grades.

Portrays the young people of uruguay at home, play and school. Emphasizes progressive steps being made in education. Includes scenes of primary schools, special classes for children from families whose histories show tuberculosis, rural schools, athletics in secondary schools and music education.

Mother goose steps out of the nursery rhyme book and brings to life some of the favorite characters of mother goose land, including little miss muffet, old mother hubbard, queen of hearts, and humpty dumpty. Animated puppets are used throughout.
