After hibernating for 15,000 years, a malevolent virus is released from an ancient tomb in Costa Rica. A top team of specialists is assembled to research it. Infection causes blood-red eyes, a high fever and superhuman strength.

Mass spontaneous suicide in new Chicago high rise is linked to chemical warfare agent. The inventor vanished in 1967, but his old office was located at the plot. A team member is taken prisoner in the building and contracts the poison.

During the St. Michael's Festival, a priest, who has a crisis of faith, is influenced by mysterious Dr. Dicketts to abandon God. The team investigates a bizarre deadly virus that breaks out each year during the festival and meets them.

Edward and Kimberly have to make a vaccine to solve a virus.

Unknown hemorrhagic fever runs rampant on a Boing 747, the plane is denied landing permit and the team must work out of a small bio lab in the cargo hold in an attempt to keep the pilots alive long enough to land the plane.

Edward was being chosen to inject sedatives for temporary death. he went to the heaven or hell to walk around.
