Inspector Yoann Peeters and his daughter Camille move to Heiderfeld where he spend his youth. when a boy ends up dead in the river, Peeters is the only one who believes there is more to it than a suicide.

With a confession on the books, the chief is eager to close the case. But, Peeters presses ahead, convinced the real killer is still at large.

Flouting orders, Peeters hatches a plan to find out what the Malausas are hiding. Camile gets her first taste of the local party scene.

As Peeters puzzles over a disturbing find at Driss's apartment, the mystery caller gives the mayor an ultimatum, and Camile worries for Zoe's safety.

Peeters digs into shady dealings at the soccer club and braces for a difficult conversation with Ines. The chief closes in on the menacing caller.

Jeff leads Peeters and Drummer to a chilling scene in the woods. The battle over the dam takes a new turn, and Camile's frustrations boil over.

While Peeters questions the author of the fake suicide note, the chief makes an unsettling discovery. Panic sends Kevin into a dangerous spiral.
