When Thomas arrives at the Animal Park, the giraffe he's transporting refuses to wake up. Thomas has to go back to the docks and fetch the animal's keeper.

Emily and Percy quarrel over a car of apples and it ends up tipping over.

Gordon isn't strong enough to rescue Thomas from the snow, so he fetches Rocky.

It's a rainy day on Sodor, but that doesn't bother Thomas and Rosie who decide to play a game with the muddy puddles.

Farmer Trotter sends Thomas to collect some straw from Farmer McColl for his pigs.

Thomas is carrying bees, but he loses them while passing a field of flowers. How can he get them back in their hives?

By being quiet and gentle, Percy is able to make friends with some animals in the woods.

Rare bird, the Sodor Warbler, has returned to Sodor and Henry is to deliver a nesting pole to Bluff's Cove for it.

Using a flatbed of flowers as bait, Thomas persuades the bees to return to their hives and he safely takes them to Farmer Trotter.

Of all the farms on the Island of Sodor, Farmer Trotter's Pig Farm is Thomas' favorite and he visits as often as he can.

Stafford the quiet electric engine wants to make some steam engine noises. Thomas and Percy show him how to do it.

Stafford scares Farmer McColl's lambs away with his loud steam engine noises. He has to find them by being his quiet self.

Stafford manages to return the lambs to their new home and learns that he is happy being Quiet Stafford, the Electric Engine.

Cranky is so busy that Brendam Docks is sent into a state of chaos. Sir Topham Hatt goes to the Steamworks and borrows Kevin to give Cranky a helping hook.

A stone flies from Paxton's cars and hits Gordon's boiler. Paxton thinks Gordon should be checked over, but stubborn Gordon refuses to listen.

Paxton and Thomas play around on a stretch of buckled, bumpy track at Knapford Bend. It's not long before disaster strikes.

James tries to scare Percy with his tale of the Phantom Express.

After scaring Stephen and Percy, James starts to believe his own scary story of the Phantom Express.

James and Sir Topham Hatt go on a hunt for the Phantom Express around Ulfstead Castle and find Percy and Stephen in the dry moat.

Kevin arrives at Brendam Docks to help out, but Cranky is not pleased to see him.

Gordon upsets his express passengers when he keeps stopping to take on water. Trying to make up for lost time, Gordon decides to try and think about something else.

Paxton goes in search of Thomas' "lost puff".

Cranky finally allows Kevin to help him with the workload down at Brendam Docks.

Gordon's boiler finally runs dry and Paxton has to push the pompous express engine to the Steamworks.

Paxton goes to the Steamworks to see if Victor has any spare "puff" for Thomas. He is left looking foolish when he is told that "puff" is just another word for "steam".

Harold has broken down. Thomas and Duck have to take him to the Search and Rescue Center by rail. Thomas wants to show Harold some sights, but Duck wants to go directly to their destination.

Due to him being re-routed, Bertie is able to regularly beat Thomas to the level crossing.

Winston is tired of the way the engines tease him for Sir Topham Hatt's bad driving.

Thomas wants to show Harold the inside of Knapford Station so he tricks Duck into going there. Disaster nearly strikes when Harold is too big to fit under the roof.

To beat Bertie to the level crossing, Thomas goes looking for a shortcut on his branch line but only ends up causing a delay for his passengers.

Thomas doesn't like wearing his snowplow, so he hides it in a siding. When the snow falls, Emily has to clear the branch line while Thomas is snug and warm in the shed.

Due to a frozen turntable at Tidmouth Sheds, the engine have to look for alternative shelters.

Diesel 10 starts stealing the steam engines' Christmas decorations from Tidmouth Sheds to decorate the Dieselworks.

Sir Topham Hatt is asked to dress up as Santa Claus and is going to be getting a sleigh. Sir Topham isn't pleased about this and decides to convert Winston into a sleigh instead.

Thomas finds it boring in the shed and sets off to find his snowplow, but the snow has covered it up and he can't see it anywhere.

Gordon selfishly takes the one available berth at Tidmouth Sheds and ends up stuck inside when the frozen turntable moves slightly.

Percy catches Diesel 10 stealing garland and soon the whole Steam Team is chasing him across the island to the Dieselworks.

Sir Topham Hatt is not best pleased to see the sleigh that the Earl has ordered for him to use.

Without his snowplow, Thomas soon gets stuck in the snow.

As he is stuck in the sheds, Gordon's express train is given to James. When he is freed from the shed, Sir Topham Hatt has Gordon take Percy's mail train to make up for his day wasted in the shed.

Percy gets Sidney the best Christmas present of all - some new wheels so that he can be really useful again.

Thomas comes to Sir Topham Hatt's rescue when he slides away in a Christmas sleigh dressed as Santa Claus.

After delivering Harold to the Search and Rescue Center, Duck concludes there might be three ways of doing things; the Great Western way, the wrong way and the Thomas way.

Thomas comes off the rails while looking for a shortcut. When he is rescued, Thomas vows to stick to his branch line from now on.

Runaway Winston finally runs out of gas and is pleased to have Sir Topham Hatt back in the driving seat once again.

Sir Topham Hatt shows off Belle and Flynn to three railway inspectors.

Diesel roughly shunts Hiro's trucks and causes the milk churns to leak. When Hiro delivers the trucks to Knapford, the milk leaks out and spills over Sir Topham Hatt's trousers.

Salty is feeling under the weather, but doesn't want to be checked over for fear he'll be sent away from the docks. He is even more rattled when a new engine named Porter arrives.

The engines challenge James to pull the Flying Kipper to prove he isn't scared of his own stories. James excepts the challenge until he realizes how smelly fish can be.

Flynn is depressed when Belle extinguishes a fire without him. He begins to think that the inspectors may have been right; Sodor might only need one fire engine.

Sneaky Diesel tries to show Hiro just how troublesome trucks can be.

To make up for his broken promise, Sir Topham Hatt makes James take the smelly Flying Kipper train that night whether he likes it or not.

While Belle is busy keeping an eye on the fireworks at Ulfstead Castle, Flynn finally manages to prove that you can never have too many fire engines.

Salty is soon repaired and heading back to Brendam Docks, but he collides with some oil drums and soon starts slipping along the tracks.

Sir Topham Hatt has Hiro teach Diesel the proper way to handle Troublesome Trucks.

Porter saves Salty from a nasty accident and they become great dockside friends.

After pulling the Flying Kipper, James returns to the sheds smelling of fish.

Bill and Ben tease Harvey and Porter down at Brendam Docks. Porter takes no notice, to him it's just water off a duck's back.

Tired of Spencer's teasing, Stephen wants to prove that he can be the fastest afternoon tea express ever.

After taking on some bad coal, Henry decides to leave Hiro until new coal arrives, but Hiro continues on delivering the important cargo.

A young deer has found its way to the Blue Mountain Quarry and Luke gets to see it up close.

Harvey tries pulling a train of flatbeds to Vicarstown.

Stephen is going fast again due to the other engines giving him a push. However, one day, Stephen can't find any engines around so has to trick Spencer into giving him a push.

Hiro, still burning bad coal, is given another important job, but he will need to persuade reluctant Henry to help him.

Working quietly so as not to startle the young deer is more difficult than it sounds for the vehicles at the Blue Mountain Quarry.

Harvey proves that it is doubly useful to be both a crane and an engine when he has an accident on the way to Vicarstown with his flatbeds.

Spencer pushes Stephen too fast and he can't stop in time to avoid a collision with some buffers at Ulfstead Castle.

When Hiro finally break down, Henry manages to push Hiro and all the heavy flatbeds to the docks.

Luke's deer friend is reunited with its mother during a trip to Ulfstead Castle.

Luke and Millie decide to swap jobs for the day with Millie going to the Blue Mountain Quarry and Luke working on the Earl's estate at Ulfstead Castle.

Excitable Caitlin offers to take Percy's mail train, but she has a problem keeping quiet.

Luke and Millie learn a lot from their job swapping, but are both glad to go back to normal at the end of the day.

Caitlin, having been awake all night pulling the mail and the Flying Kipper, she finds it hard to stay awake the next day.

Sir Topham Hatt orders scruffy Scruff to be repainted and the dirty, little engine isn't happy about it at all.

After spending the day telling jokes about elephants, Charlie finds a real live one beside the line.

After Scruff is repainted, he thinks he is too smart and shiny to work at the waste dump and looks for a job elsewhere.

No-one will believe Charlie when he says that he has seen a real, live elephant alongside the railway line.

Scruff learns that he may be smart and clean, but if he doesn't do his job, he can't be really useful.

Charlie and Harold find the elephant and return it safely to the Animal Park. After the eventful day, Charlie vows never to tell a joke again, but that decision doesn't last very long.

Bill and Ben see Connor for the first time and decide to play a trick on him.

Percy begins to believe he is an unlucky engine after a spell of bad luck.

Connor realizes that Bill and Ben are two different engines and, after nearly causing an accident, Sir Topham Hatt decides to put an end to their tricks once and for all.

Percy is given a lucky horseshoe to combat his spell of bad luck. His day seems to take a happy turn afterwards, but he doesn't know that the horseshoe had fallen off as soon as he'd got it.

Ben, pretending to be Bill, tricks Kevin into having him painted the same color as his twin again so that they can play tricks on Connor once again.

Percy is able to save the day even without his lucky charm. He realizes that he can make his own luck just by being a really useful engine.

Gordon stops on his hill and cannot start again with the heavy express holding him back. Old Edward is called to help.

When Annie and Clarabel keep complaining about Thomas' speed, the cheeky tank engine decides to have some fun.

Salty frightens Thomas with his tale of the Flatbeds of Fear.

Diesel makes all the other diesels hide from Paxton for a joke, but Paxton is worried when he can't find any of his friends.

Thomas plays a trick on Gordon so that he will learn not to be so rude to Edward.

Henry hears a spooky noise and, believing it's the Flatbeds of Fear, goes onto a siding and refuses to move.

Despite being unkind to Paxton, Diesel is surprised by Paxton's display of kindness when he runs out of fuel.

Even with Henrietta's help, Toby cannot navigate his way through the many signals of Knapford Junction.

Thomas learns that the spooky noise isn't the Flatbeds of Fear - it's actually just the wind whistling through the pipes.

Toad bravely manages to stop some runaway cars from colliding with Thomas who is carrying Sir Topham and Dowager Hatt.

Toby finally learns his signals and even spots one that is faulty.

Duck is stuck in a flood and James collects Rocky to rescue him. Unfortunately, James doesn't wait for Rocky's crane arm to be secured and the big crane knocks over a signal.

Toad impresses several engines with the tale of his daring adventure.

Duck tells the engines all about slip coaches which can be uncoupled at stations without stopping.

Duncan is a very grumpy engine and, today, he has a very grumpy passenger.

Duncan makes all the engines unhappy with his constant complaining about the Christmas period on the narrow gauge railway.

Thomas is left alone at the quarry when Mavis and Diesel head off to the docks with cars full of stone.

Percy is worried that Reg the scrapyard crane is missing out on Christmas.

Marion accidentally breaks a water pipe and tries to cover it up.

Percy gives Reg the best Christmas present of all - more lovely scrap. Reg gives Percy a star made from scrap in return.

The leaky water pipe causes problems for Marion, but she manages to save the day just in time.

Percy misses his friend Gator and vows to keep his mind off things by keeping busy.

Ben forgets to collect the coal for the engines at the China Clay Pits which has Marion very concerned.

While trying to impress the Deputy Minister, Sir Topham Hatt's engines make a lot of mistakes. Sir Topham and the Minister decide to give the engines a second chance.

Timothy the oil-burning engine has to fetch coal for Bill and Ben when the two cheeky twins run out.

Toad is not pleased when Gator's lamp keeps going out. Eventually, Gator has enough of Toad's complaining and decides to leave him behind.

Gator makes his return to the Island of Sodor.

James' inexperience with the Slip Coaches shows and experienced Duck steps in.

Gator borrows one of Toad's lamps and the pair manage to deliver their cars to the docks.

Percy is worried that Gator doesn't want to see him, but realizes it has all been a misunderstand. Percy rushes to the docks, but fears he may be too late to stop Gator from going home again.

Duncan tries to impress his grumpy passenger, but makes everyone else miserable in doing so.

A birdwatcher pulls the emergency cord in error and Annie ends up developing a wheel flat.

James takes responsibility for an accident involving a fallen signal pole.

Gator's advice helps Percy to rescue some runaway trucks.

Thomas takes a long line of heavy stone cars without waiting for a back engine and soon runs into trouble.

Duncan is rewarded for not being grumpy around the festive season.

Snow is falling heavily and Connor is determined to get everyone home in time for Christmas.

Emily and Hiro manage to clear the line at Vicarstown just in time for Connor's Christmas train.

While Thomas is transporting the Duke and Duchess of Boxford, he has to stop suddenly when he spots a branch across the line.

Stephen puts himself in danger in order to save Gordon from a collapsing bridge.

Thomas feels responsible when Hiro derails around a sharp bend.

Toby breaks down, but has a hard job being heard over the noise of the scrapyard.

Thomas causes an accident at the docks and creates an imaginary new engine called Geoffrey to take the blame.

A couple of inspectors arrive on the island and Thomas doesn't make a very good first impression.

Rumors start to circulate around the island that Toby the old tram engine is to be scrapped. Henrietta soon gets to the bottom of all the confusion.

Thomas tricks Sir Topham Hatt into having a conversation with an imaginary engine called Geoffrey.

Annie and Clarabel find the grumpy Railway Inspector's pocket-watch left behind on their train. Thomas rushes to give it back before the railway gets an even worse report.

Sir Topham Hatt's grandchildren have chicken-pox and Henry is worried about catching it.

Percy, in a rush, damages his livestock car and leaves his brakevan behind on his way to pick up Farmer McColl's very important sheep.

Oliver doesn't believe Toad when the brakevan spots a beached whale at Bluff's Cove.

Henry causes confusion and delay when fleeing from engines who he thinks have contracted chicken-pox.

Thomas has to pick up the sheep that have broken out of Percy's livestock wagon.

Rescuing the beached whale looks in doubt until Toad comes up with a plan - if only someone would listen to him.

Henry is educated about chicken-pox and learns that he has nothing to worry about.

Thomas returns the missing sheep to Farmer McColl just in time to prevent Percy getting into trouble for damaging his wagon.

A new rail zeppelin called Hugo causes quite a stir when he arrives on the Island of Sodor.

Due to a paint mix-up, Henry glows in the dark and frightens all of his friends without knowing.

Hugo is shunned by the engines of Sodor as they believe he has come to take over their jobs. Thomas and Percy realize this is not the case and start to feel bad.

Percy hears a strange noise while travelling over the bridge at the watermill on Thomas' branch line.

The engines are confused when they see a zeppelin in the sky and mistake it for Hugo, the new engine.

Thomas, Percy and Toby believe there is a hungry troll living under the bridge at the watermill. Or could it just be a cow?

When the sheds are damaged in an accident, Edward excepts an invitation to stay with Philip. Unfortunately, Philip is a bit of a chatterbox and keeps old Edward awake all night.

Cranky and Carly, the new crane, get taught a valuable lesson about teamwork when their lack of communication causes big trouble at the docks.

James' brakes fail and, ignoring advice from Rosie, causes a big accident at Tidmouth Sheds.

Emily has some trouble with a giant model globe, Bill and Ben send Timothy on a wild goose chase looking for a rainbow-colored car, Samson and Harvey are sent on a scrap run and Marion has a run-in with some dinosaurs.
