Christopher, Oliver and Rory go to Glasgow to bring Lauren home.

The team find out that Malcolm Hunter is alive.

Christopher and Rory feel guilty that because they didn't train Laura, she got hurt because of them.

We delve into the past of Elizabeth.

As The Archer, Red Archer, and Oliver Martin pursue a killer named Mark Harkness, they encounter a the Blur. They team up to try and stop Harkness.

The Demon gives Christopher 48 hours to find Sara's killer, or the City citizens will die. The Emerald Archer then has an epic confrontation with the Demon.

The Team's worst fears are realized when Hunter informs them of Christopher's death. Meanwhile Freddie Parkhurst tests part of his super suit out and Laura decides to pursue justice outside of the law by taking up using The Canary.

Rory and Oliver try to stop Laura for following her sister's footsteps before she gets killed. However The Puppet Master, captures the city's alderman and will kill him if the police wont evacuate The city. Meanwhile Freddie tries to help The city. Malcolm tells Lauren that their family is being hunted and tracked down by The Demon and must leave town immediately.

Still operating without Christopher and desperate to stop The Puppet Master, the Team is forced to consider Malcolm's offer to help shut him down as Malcolm has a personal score to settle with the felon. Rory and Laura point out that the team could use some help to save the innocents of the city, but Elizabeth is adamantly against it. They look to Oliver to make the final decision. Meanwhile, the flashbacks chronicle Malcolm's descent from kind-hearted father and husband to cold-blooded killer after the murder of his wife.

Christopher struggles to adjust to the changes that have taken place within the team; Laura ignores Christopher and pursues Cicada - who injects her with the drug; Lauren receives a surprise visitor.

Malcolm puts Christopher and Lauren in a dangerous situation that lands them on The island with Christopher's former enemy, The Beast. A flashback reveals when Christopher and Akio returned to his home to retrieve the bio weapon, and despite being under strict orders from Amanda not to reveal himself to anyone, Christopher looks in on his family, Laura and John.

Malcolm is captured by the Demon and taken to his home. Because of his love for Lauren, Oliver considers saving Hunter. Freddie is obsessed with finishing his super suit so he can save the city but Elizabeth fears he is heading down the same path as Christopher and tries to pull him out of the lab.

Christopher thinks about the offer The Demon gave him, but to do so theres a catch.

It's celebration time as Oliver and Sarah get married. Christopher learns about Freddie's new costume and the two have a heated stand-off. Elizabeth and Freddie hit a rough patch.

During an attack on the mayor's office, Freddie is critically injured. Elizabeth is pleasantly surprised when her mother, shows up at the hospital to offer her support. With the police out in full force looking for the assailant, Christopher and his team work hard to stay one step ahead of the police to find the man responsible. However, things come to a head when The Demon kidnaps Captain Lance.

The Demon finally makes Christopher an offer he can't refuse. The team joins Christopher on his journey where a heartbroken Elizabeth decides to take matters into her own hands.

Christopher goes through a transformation; Laura asks Elizabeth and Oliver to help The demons daughter face the her father and his army.

Christopher must complete two final tasks before becoming the next Demon. Malcolm makes an offer to the team; Lauren visits Rory.

The Demon sets his plan in motion, putting everyone in danger; Christopher must decide if he is strong enough to handle his new role - and what it will mean for his team and his soul.

Christopher has cut his trails and is missing. Nobody knows where he is.
