Two couples have been assigned the bridal suite and Katy (Ann Sothern) must sort things out.

When Mr. McCauley saves the life of a sultan, he is rewarded by being given one of the sultan's eight wives. Katy is forced to hide the wife from Flora, while also trying to get the sultan to take his wife back.

Olive's infatuation with Paul the desk clerk has caused her to act strange, and worries Katy even more. But Katy's attempts to help Paul cause Olive to believe that Katy is after him as well, causing the two friends and roommates to fight.

Katy gets saddled with a job as governess for a nine-year old terror.

Katy tries to trap hotel thieves to clear her name.

Katy needs help breaking her lease with Olive.

When Katy struggles to juggle her regular duties on top of Mr. Devery's meaningless chores, she decides to find him a servant. However, the only one qualified enough to do it is the cousin of a Japanese flower shop owner, who turns out to the surprise of Katy and Mr. Devery to be a Geisha named Michiko. Katy soon becomes jealous when Mr. Devery begins giving her duties to Michiko, and schemes to get Mr. Devery to let Michiko go.

Katy receives an ugly hat in appreciation for her hard work and is expected to wear it.

Devery wants a raise, so he agrees to train a board member's nephew. But the kid is not interested in the hotel business.

Devery is annoyed when Katy dates a handsome actor.

Devery utilizes a strict military approach to win an award against a rival hotel.

Johnny misinterprets something he overheard and thinks he's being fired, when in reality he's being promoted.

When Katy and Olive babysit for a neighbor, their work lives are affected.
