After the events of The Curse of the Demon Seal in 2014, adventure villain Henry Tanner returns to India to steal the body of Sholto. In the present, Jackson Carter hunts down a thief in Russia for a mysterious golden goblet.

Professors are attacked in Jackson's office by a man looking for information on a mysterious African bracelet.

Jackson Carter visits the ex of Dave Roberts, who may unwittingly have a clue to finding a a magic urn who's contents can bring people back from the dead.

Jackson and Jessica attempt an escape after discovering the location of the magic urn.

In Africa, Jackson finds the Magic Urn, but the villainous Henry Tanner and the others are not far behind.

Jackson struggles with actions from his past and the people forever affected by them.

The villains, led by Henry Tanner, gather to raise Myra's brother, Sholto, from the dead using the power of the African urn and an ancient magic ritual.

Jackson's rescuer is revealed as Anna Young returns, and she must help him recover from his ghostly confrontations.

Sholto seeks his revenge on Anna for killing him two years ago while Myra confronts Jackson Carter.

With the magic urn destroyed, Jackson Carter must deal with the resurrected villain, Sholto.
