In this pilot episode, Scott's Grandma comes across the old family album; Scott's ancestors likewise turned into werewolves during a full moon. Scott runs into Pam on the way home from school and Mick, Pam's jealous boyfriend, threatens Scott. Scott's family album becomes mixed into Pam's pile of books; the family album is in the back seat of Mick's car (which looks very much like a 1986 Camaro). Scott, with Stiles' help, attempts to retrieve the family album before all his other friends discover his family's secret.

Pam's sheepdog, Daisy, wanders into nosy neighbor Mrs. Sesslick's yard and starts harassing her cat, Ballard. Mrs. Sesslick chases Daisy with her broom, and after Daisy breaks Mrs. Sesslick's front screen door she calls the dog pound. Grandpa also starts chasing Ballard, and when Mr. Conroy, the dog catcher arrives, Grandpa bumps into him and both Conroy and Grandpa lose their glasses. Conroy mistakenly puts on Grandpa's glasses and takes him to the dog pound, thinking Grandpa is a dog. It's then up to Scott, his family, Stiles, and Boof to rescue Grandpa from the ...

A werewolf hunter comes to the town of Wolverton and Scott and his family must find and warn Grandpa who is hunting turkey in the woods before the werewolf hunter catches up to them.

Scott and his family mysteriously are unable to control their wolf outs and worry they are the town monster that has been on the news. The family realize that Loopy's science fair project is responsible for their behavior, but are still uncertain who or what caused all the damage in their home.

Scott Howard thought life as a werewolf could'not get any worse but things are about to get even hairier when it's time for the yearly family reunion at his house and trying to keep his hairy family secret from neighbors and unbeknownst friends becomes really tricky especially when Stiles thinks it's a good idea to show Scott's attractive cousin Eva around Wolverton on the night of a full moon and things get worse when Mick starts to show interest in Scott's cousin when he's meant to be dating Pam, but things get resolved when they manage to secret themselves away ...

Scott becomes infatuated with Shayna the She Wolf, a T.V. personality who he believes to be a real teen wolf like himself. He and Stiles decide to travel to Hollywood and find her.

Stiles recommends the "Wolf pack" to be the entertainers for the Woolverton Festival. However, this bike gang brings big trouble and Scott must find a way to scare them out of town.

Scott and his family make a trip to Rottenberg, Transylvania to reconnect with their past. However, danger lurks when the townspeople seem very spooked by the castle the family inherited. After a series of frightening instances, the family realizes there is nothing to be frightened about.

The Howards have been selected to be the "All-American Family." However, with the press and media watching their every move, the family is concerned their secret will be out. The family try to make a conscious effort to act as "normal" as possible.

A new family has moved to town, a family who uses their powers to turn everyone in Woolverton into zombies. The only people resilient to their powers are the Howards. Scott and his family decide to rescue the town, even that means having to reveal their family secret.

Scott, Stiles and Boof head out of town to celebrate Scott's winning touchdown, armed with a potion made by grandma that prevents him from wolfing out for the night. But when it spills and he changes, Scott feels somewhat normal in his werewolf form amongst the punk rocker scene.
