Lex Luthor makes a deal with creatures who live in the Sun to turn the Sun red and take away Superman's powers. When the Sun Creatures double cross Luthor and try to turn Earth into an Inferno, Luthor then has to turn to the Super Friends for help.

After a massive space explosion, Superman is manipulated into becoming the Black Knight after losing his memory and crash landing on a futuristic medieval planet.

The land of Middle Earth has been taken over by the evil overlord Malhavoc. When the Super Friends arrive to help, Malhavoc's magic takes away their powers and turns them into trolls.

In an alternate universe, the Super Friends are actually super villains, housed at the Hall of Evil, orchestrating terrible disasters all over the world. In a freak accident, evil Superman trades places with the good Superman. Good Superman must find the way back home, while the good Super Friends must protect the Earth from evil Superman.

The evil Captain Nemoy steals Kryptonite from Superman's Fortress of Solitude to enhance his torpedoes. Superman is away on a mission, so the Super Friends enlist the aid of four Kandorians, Miniature Kryptonians from the Bottled City of Kandor who have Superman's powers.

The descendant of Dr. Frankenstein drains the powers from the Superfriends to create an unstoppable monster.

A tornado blows through Metropolis and it sweeps up the Hall of Justice. Superman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman are taken to a mysterious planet entirely based on Lyman Frank Baum's "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz", but it is operated by Mister Mxyzptlk.
