British comedian Sue Perkins goes on adventures to work out her fears of becoming 'staid'. The first episode sees Sue go to Bogota, Colombia where she plays an explosive variation of cornhole while drunk, gets shot, run rapids with a trio of sex workers, and discusses the acceptability of human-donkey sex.

After experiencing lucha libre and ,meeting a bone cleaner in Mexico, Sue soars over the beaches of Brazil and performs a rap song at a favela funk ball.

Sue visits a love motel in São Paulo before heading to higher altitudes in La Paz, Bolivia, where strong emotions surface after a mind-altering trip.
