This is the first episode of the second season of the series. It has been two years since we last saw anything to life at and around Samsø's police station. Ulla has been to Aarhus to study, but comes home as her father is dying. At the same time, most of the island is busy with the Vice Mayor's son's wedding. Unfortunately, the groom just has a slightly unsteady temper which causes him problems both before and after the wedding

A famous painter provokes outrage on Samsø as he puts up a four meter high cross on a field, and then paints a naked girl on the cross. And speaking of the Christian symbol, there are marital problems in the parsonage. When a museum director comes to interview the painter, he finds the artist murdered. The case seems clear from the start - it must be the painter's young female model who has become jealous and has led the knife. But It turns out that he lived a double life and that others also had reason for jealousy.

Some young boys find a pack of hashish in the water. They find themselves looking for more in a wreck as they are convinced it will come from there. At the same time, a very violent rapist is loose on Samsø. Christian Torp sends Ulla out as a decoy, and that doesn't exactly improve their relationship.

As Sille and her friend find two men dead. Copenhagen police sends two men from a special Unit to help with the Investigation. As a thank you for borrowing the office, they leave a gift - it helps Ulla and Christian get together again. However, it is only until Ulla's "friend" arrives on the island. The special Unit travels home again as they are convinced that the two men have killed each other and therefore there is no more to be solved, but is that the whole truth? Christian Torp continues to research the case. Meanwhile, Taxi-Ejvind is trying to find a woman.

The young parent couple Thea and Kent suddenly show up at Thea's father, the journalist Viggo. They haven't seen each other for many years, but the young couple suddenly needed a "holiday" from Copenhagen. Christian Torp has seen Kent before, but where? There is a problem with drugs at a camp for troubled young people. What does this have to do with everything? Taxi-Ejvind awaits visit - will his dating add bear fruit? And what about Ulla and Christian's relationship?

Some women on Samsø find it difficult to stick to their husbands. It leads to an assault on the man the women are looking for. at first everyone thinks it is some refugee attack on a dane, but since it turns out that the refugees have an alibi, the case looks something different. At the same time, a young girl tells Christian Torp that her father had murdered her boyfriend in the past, but that it was then considered an accident. And someone is painting swaztika on the walls of The Church. So there is plenty for Christian Torp to do, who on the home front has problems...
