Granville has a large number of bargain spectacles to sell, but will they do anything to improve his customers' eyesight? Encouraged by a self help book Mr Newbold decides to tell Mrs Featherstone how he really feels.

Granville gets a man who claims to be regularly abducted by aliens to boost sales of tins of baked beans for him. Three's a crowd for Leroy as Beth turns up for their date accompanied by her best friend Ruby.

Gastric impresses everyone when he gets his mini to run on its own. Eric and Cyril try to impress the ladies by taking up rock-climbing. Granville buys a second-hand sausage making machine and starts producing designer sausages.

Granville decides he needs to increase his advertising footprint, but his grand scheme wreaks havoc. Beth is still trying to get Leroy to arrange a blind date for her friend Ruby. Granville tries to flog some tinned smoked oysters.

Granville surprises Kath when he announces he has a special way of matching the right product to the right customer. The Black Widow suspects Mrs Rossi is having a continental influence on the shop and Granville.

Granville has a malfunctioning till to deal with, Leroy buys an ice cream van while Eric and Cyril decide it's time to show some macho spirit in the home of the Tour de Yorkshire and get back in the saddle.

Granville has a large quantity of mistletoe mince pies to shift but Eric and Cyril refuse to be taken in by his promises of romantic enhancement - but could the pies actually work?
