Ta'Ra invents new technology that's stolen by an insane escaped prisoner. Only Ta'Ra and Jack can stop his rampage through the city but he's not going down without a fight.

A scientist who was experimenting with increased use of the brain's potential tried his serum on himself and his daughter. In the child the results are telekinesis but in his already-mature brain it results in brain damage. Now two unscrupulous CIA agents are trying to capture the girl for their own use...

A woman's friends try to distract her from worrying about her brother, who's missing and convince her to go with them to a local Wax Museum... where she finds her brother's severed HEAD! Jack and Ta'Ra are the only ones who believe her and try to find out exactly what's happening with missing jury members and the wax museum.

Ta'Ra reads the popular "non-fiction" release by a famous SciFi Author and is convinced that he really was on one of her peoples' ships. She convinces Jack they MUST find this man as he may be a key to getting her home.

During the popular run of a ventriloquist blonde women keep showing up dead. Jack's convinced it has something to do with the ventriloquist and wants Ta'Ra's help, but finds himself oddly jealous when she develops a possible romantic attachment with him.

A young boy has been kidnapped and the department has accepted the "help" of a famous psychic, but Jack is leery and asks Ta'Ra to read the psychic's mind to see if he's legit.

When Jack's cousin loses a body on a detour to deliver said body to the mortuary rival drug cartels are revealed along with re-selling a casket and the wrong decedent at a funeral.

Ta'Ra feels that due to tide and currents there's a chance that some of the equipment from her ship may have washed ashore near a secluded Northern California shore-town so they go to search and discover a town held in thrall to a teenager and his friends.
