Mette is on holiday in the country with her grandmother. Mette plays with Willy, 8, who lives on a farm nearby. They persuade Grandma to do a treasure hunt for them. Grandma says, "It's going to be a mysterious and dangerous treasure hunt. You have to stick together and use your imagination."

Mette and Willy are on a treasure hunt. Mette's grandmother has made the treasure map for them with seven posts. Although she said in advance that it would be a mysterious treasure hunt, she did not say anything about them meeting a knight from the old days. He suddenly appeared when Mette and Willy had found item no. 1 - and they did not know if they dared to follow.

Many mysterious things have happened on Mette's and Willy's treasure hunt. They have met a knight, they have met Dovenlars and his mother and they have met two children - everyone from the old days. After having found posts # 1, 2 and 3, the knight told them that he might know someone who can lead them to the castle where the treasure is hidden.

Now Mette and Willy only need to find posts # 5 and 6 - and then finally post 7 at the castle where the treasure is stored. The King of Pisces have told them to ask the King of the Winds for direction, he knows the road to everything.
